Place is nice and spacious. However, generally could use some love. 1. Carpet at living room needs cleaning/changing as appears old and dirty. 2. We found a cockroach inside the house. 3. Dining chairs still have food particles on it. 4. Provision of supplies could’ve been more. Less than a quarter of liquid hand soaps in bathrooms. Only 2 sets of essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) in small bottles for 5 pax for 5 days which is nearly not enough. Only 5 sets of cutlery for 5 pax- no spares. 5. Flickering lights 6. Toaster needs replacing 7. Better if there is a manual for appliances for proper operation. Pros: Host is very responsive and considerate. Willing to assess issues immediately when brought up. (We preferred they come and check after our stay). House has heaps of fans and heaters Rooms has generous space

We have stayed before, and enjoyed both times. The only thing is the late check in. We find 4pm is late, particularly when you have scheduled appointments to attend. Otherwise fabulous place to stay.

I have stayed in this place before and came back, that says a lot about the place. The host is very responsive, kind, understanding and polite. The place is in a good location with lots of cafés and relatively near a ferry (Honsonville Ferry) to go to downtown. Overall, I am very happy with this place.

What an amazing spot. Very central to all amenities, motorway and public transport options. A beautiful modern house with loads of space and a real bonus of 2+ parking for vehicles. You would struggle to find a better location for a families, with playgrounds, walking/biking options right outside your door. Would highly recommend this property, thanks for having us.

Thanks for the stay, lovely house: felt like home. Close to where we needed to be. Great checking out Catalina market etc while we were there too. Having off street parking for two vehicles was a great bonus.

Not as clean as expected. A noticeable dirty smell in living area. Curtains & blinds in bad need of repair, curtains were hanging off tracks and the blinds that could be lifted were broken. Went to hand wash dishes but had been given the tiniest amount of detergent that had been watered down and the dish brush had old food all stuck in it, so loaded dishwasher to run that but had not been supplied with tablets or powder for that. The hosts were great with communication up until that point when we notified them and then they chose not to respond. Felt like we were being rushed out on checkout morning when we received a message to ask us to notify them if we leave before 10am so they can manage their busy schedule? Overall cleanliness was not what was promised and ultimately let the place down.

Large and spacious house in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a tree-lined trail to walk. Off-street parking. The house was clean but there were cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We stayed in autumn and although there is a cooling unit that works well downstairs, the upstairs was hot even with the fans provided.

EJ’s place was super comfortable. It was in a great neighborhood, had parking for our car, local park and cafes for our kids, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were all clean. 20 mins from CBD, highly recommend it!

Spacious house in great location for the ferry Positive: Family living nearby so great location and walked to the ferry. In general the house was clean and tidy. Negative: Curtains were water stained and most were hanging off the rails. No air flow on a hot evening so difficult to sleep with the fan only upstairs.

AMAZING!!!!!! From the moment of booking, Team EJ made contact with me. This was hugely appreciative as I booked last minute and I didn’t want to stress about anything. The check in guide was given well in advance and it was referred to often. Wifi was exceptional in all areas of the house. The house was immaculate and beautifully set up for our stay. Our family made use of every inch including the washing machine and dryer. With all the rain this was extremely helpful! The bathrooms were extremely clean and could not fault anything. The bedrooms were clean, beautifully styled and offered plenty of space. The lounge and dining room was our favourite space. Offering indoor outdoor flow with fresh air, beautiful natural light and plenty of space. My only request would be for more tea towels to be provided but that’s about all. We absolutely loved this place and have some precious memories with our daughter here. I would highly recommend and would stay here again. So thank you so much 😊

Perfect spot to stay on the shore. Hobsonville home has everything for a small group. From begining to end the Eric and Jason were exceptional. Left no stone unturned. The place is sublime. Ferry 900meters to the City. We would definatly recommend to friends and family.

Spacious and well connected to Auckland, needs a bit of TLC Positive: The property had lots of space for our family and was light and spacious. The area was just what we needed for a few days with connections into Auckland and shops/restaurants all within walking distance. Negative: We arrived as it was getting dark so everything seemed ok on arrival, but the next day it was clear that the ‘light clean’ they do between guests wasn’t sufficient and everything was a little bit grubby. After we had washed dishes and given a few areas a quick clean the only issues were maintenance issues, which the property have been notified of and hopefully fix before the next guest (slow draining showers, flickering lights, etc). The only other issue was the bedrooms upstairs were cold and had no heating, the duvets were very thin and the pillows very uncomfortable; we went to use a blanket from the downstairs bedroom but on inspection it was very dirty so we left it where it was! The place could do with a bit of TLC to restore it to a higher standard.

Beautiful house , great location and most importantly amazing host . You guys are so responsive to our queries and special thank you are letting us stay beyond our check our time . Also,Since we had a newborn we are very skeptic about the house to be warm . This guys will not let you down . My 2 month old slept so comfortably. Can’t wait to visit you again soon. The house itself is great and spacious and in a good location, but the furniture and furnishings are cheap and of bad quality and they let the place down. There is no garden furniture or BBQ, so enjoying the garden in summer is by taking chairs from inside.

Nice people but sadly they did not return our house key then got extremely angry with us when we said we had to get the locks changed.

We did not get angry about the locks getting changed and apologised profusely for accidentally taking the key with us. We did get upset about being told we had to pay $3000 in compensation and being accused of breaking into a locked bedroom when it was not locked on our arrival.

A lovely, spacious and stylish house. A nice leisurely walk down to the Ferry wharf where there is a super cute farmer's market on a Saturday. Eric and Jason were great at keeping in touch and answering any questions we had straight away. Shops and take outs super close too. Would stay again for sure!

Communication was great. The house is very spacious. Fans were provided for the upstairs rooms which was fantastic. Air conditioning downstairs. Nicely decorated and felt homely. Would have been great to have outdoor furniture as there is a lovely sunny courtyard. Nespresso coffee maker was a nice addition. Great walking tracks along the coast, and easy walk to market, bar and cafes.

A great place to stay in Hobsonville. Close to lovely walkways, parks, cafes and jetty to catch ferry to the city. Very hot upstairs so were glad a fan was provided for each room. Would recommend to others wanting to stay in the area.

Do not expect a refund for any unforeseen circumstances, such as not being able to check-in for a 1 week's stay due to a Covid lockdown when you're from out of Auckland & after you've sent a heat felt message expect the finger to be pointed at you with an unreasonable reply. Not nice people.

From the moment we entered this property it was more than we could have expected. From quality service and amenities to Eric & Jasons Hosting and impeccable communication, every bit of our stay was more than we could have hoped for. The location was gorgeous and family friendly with a coastal walk at the end of the street, leading to Aucklands newest and most stylish farmers markets and restaurants. Family friendly, this home was easy to clean up at the end of our stay which was important to us as a family with 4 small children. Having Catalina Cafe 5 minutes walk away made our first breakfast easy and tasty. The home itself was easy to heat and keep tidy with all the amenties needed to maintain the house during our stay and make our family trip stress free. The hobsonville point community is so safe it is not unheard of to see families walking at night, enjoying the local hotspots that the suburb has to offer. A real lifestyle, moments away from the city. We took the 10 min walk to the wharf and caught the ferry into Auckland city to see all the family friendly sights such as skytower, the domain and the viaduct. Such convenience to all these things close by. Would absolutely 100% book this home again next time we are in Auckland!

We absolutely loved our stay in Eric and Jason’s Air BNB home, it was very clean, it had virtually everything we needed, and the check in and out process was simple. We were concerned about the cold coming from a warmer climate in Australia, but the entire house was so easily heated and was lovely and warm. The communication between us and our hosts was awesome and they were always asking if we needed anything. We 100% recommend this wonderful home for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Auckland 👍😁

Perfect place!! The house was surprisingly clean and tidy and the location was close by to shops, cafe’s and the local ferry, making it convenient to head out and visit the city. Check-in was super easy and hassle free thanks to the owners who were very prompt at responding to messages. Overall we really loved our stay and will definitely be back again next time we are in auckland :)
