房子是由一层的地下车库改建，有部份房间处于半地下。厨房没有水槽，得去使用卫生间外的洗衣房里的水槽，不是很方便，水槽也很小。卫生间很小，里面有一个十分迷你的洗手台，所以无论使用水槽还是洗手台，都难免造成水溅到地面，需要不停擦拭。房子的过道和客厅的书架、置物架堆满了房东的物品。房子的卫生状况不是很好，冰箱、烤箱、微波炉、烤面包机、热水壶、洗衣机、烘干机内外都不太干净。洗衣房的置物架上落满灰尘及杂乱的物品。屋内只配了3个小的移动电暖器。刚来时屋内配置的两台吸尘器吸力很小，不足以打扫房间。经过几次协调后，大概10天后换了功能良好的吸尘器。小院子里挺车还是很方便的，房主的4辆车也停在这里，只是院子出口地面不是很平整，每次开车出入需十分注意，很容易碰到车底盘。离房子开车5分钟就有1家大超市，应该走路也能到，不过没走路去过。房子是由一个专业团队负责出租，不需要和房主直接联系，有什么问题也由团队与房主联系，团队响应问题很快，有事晚上也能及时回复，但有些问题得等团队与房主沟通。入住、离开时交房都通过大门口的钥匙盒完成，不需要见面，平时也不会受到打扰。厨房电器、厨具配备齐全是个亮点，冰箱、烤箱、微波炉、电磁炉、烤面包机、热水壶、各种锅具、刀具、餐具、杯盘，足够做饭及6人用餐使用了，电磁炉做菜很快。有洗衣机、烘干机也是个亮点，能保证每天清洁及烘干衣物，这点在冬天很重要。

Basic. Really basic accommodation. Feels more like an adapted basement with some incomplete features and really basic premises like a kitchen with no sink (it's next door in the laundry bathroom area). Beds are comfortable tho. If you are after affordable, basic accommodation at a reasonable price, this is for you. Lower your expectations tho.

This property did not meet the expectations that were given by the photos. There were marks all over the walls and doors, along side water damage and mould and Missing baseboards and blinds. On our first night there was no power in the lounge and first bedroom due to a flipped breaker which was behind a cabinet that we could not move (due to hosts rules), on the second night there was a ant infestation that my partner had to deal with. Ants covered the inside base of the shower and the outside. The washing machine is unusable due to the amount of mould in the machine seal, shower curtain was also covered in mould, the only blind in the lounge is water damaged and mouldy, windowsills are mouldy and dirty, barely any of the safety latches on the widows are connected. There are minimal cleaning products a wipe, barely functional vacuum, dish soap and a dirty old sponge. However the host were good with communication on these issues and the beds were comfy. But wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here - thank you Team EJ! There were a few things but the host is very responsive and we appreciate that a lot. We fell in love with the neighborhood and actually moved down the street permanently (we're new in the country and booked the stay to get a feel for the neighborhoods here), so I highly recommend the neighborhood! It's a short walk to the train station and the grocery store which was so convenient. The only thing I do want to mention is that it's the downstairs unit, so if you're a light sleeper you may want to take that into consideration. Overall we we very happy with our stay.

Overall I wasn't very happy with our stay. It wasn't obvious that the apartment was a renovated garage until after we rented it and was sent the check in package. There wasn't a stove and the sink was in the laundry room (not in the kitchen). The apartment was clean on the surfaces, ie counters, sinks etc but was filthy on the walls around doorknobs and light switches. The shower was also dirty with hair and used soap in the dish. The host did offer to have their cleaner come the next day but at that point we had unpacked and settled in and I had already wiped down the worst of it. I felt that for a $240 cleaning fee the place should be sparkling. The furniture, carpets and bedding were old and grundgy too. The vacuum was also broken and there was no broom so we couldn't even clean up after ourselves during our stay. I wouldn't recommend this place. It doesn't look like the pictures at all.

We stayed for five days but only provided very little toilet paper and trash bags, not enough for 2 more days. Please leave a little more, because the cleaning cost is too high compared to the market. Upstairs is very noisy, late at night there are many footsteps., The rest is relatively okay. The host was friendly and quick to respond to issues. The place was clean and instructions to check in were clear. The washer and dryer was a great feature as we stayed there for six days. The walls of the place was painted white, making it look bright and welcoming. The cement rendered living room floor made it cool during the summer. The pictures shows the place as a bright, cheerful place to stay. However it might be taken a few years back as the place, especially the living room, is old, weathered and tired. The furnitures are also quite dated. There were linens and stationeries placed along the corridors to the rooms making it feels like we are going into a store room. However the rooms are clean and bright with clean linen. Over all, our stay was relatively comfortable and the place is conveniently close to places that we planned to visit.

The house was comfortable and clean and dry, and was convenient for a short stay. Beds were very comfortable. It is a converted basement so has a few quirks, like no running water at the kitchenette (need to use the laundry sink), but otherwise matches the description well.

Great long term stay at this property at a superb location! There is a beautiful walking path right behind the property with a horse stable, so the kids really liked to do a daily walk. Please specifically read the kitchen settinf before you book, as it might be a hassle for some people.

This was the weirdest experience we’ve had. This is a makeshift accommodation, possibly converted from a garage, as it contains many storage items and the kitchen doesn’t have a sink. I booked this place for my elderly parents a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, they spent most of their time outside or at my nearby place, so they didn’t need to cook much or do dishes, especially since there is no dishwasher. The reason I describe this as a weird experience is that after we checked out, the host privately messaged me asking for a 5-star review, claiming they would be penalized by Airbnb for anything less. I chose not to respond as I didn’t believe the place deserved a 5-star rating. Later, I received another message from the host accusing us of leaving the property messy and breaking a window handle. This was surprising since, as I mentioned, we barely used the place. Even more shocking was their claim of a loss of over $7,000, which seems ridiculous.

This experience is not something that we expected from you since you mentioned that you would take care of our house as your own. These were not mere accusations. These are facts reported by the cleaners backed up with lots of photos and videos which we had to submit to Airbnb in order for us to repair the damages incurred. We just hope that you never do this to another host again as it was such a traumatic experience for our whole team.

Positive: Nice and quiet location close to where we wanted to go, had most things we needed. Negative: Had problems with the TV picture turning red after it was on for a while - which we let the manager know about so hopefully it is sorted for later guests. The things stored along the hallway to the last bedroom made the hallway feel smaller and like we were intruding on someones things.

We enjoyed our stay here while in Auckland. The walkway beside the house made it very easy to get into the city, train station and countdown was 5min walk away. Kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook with, beds were comfortable and good linen and towels. Would reccomend

An ok place for long stays that is affordable and close to shops, fastfoods and bakeries. We stayed for 9days. Comfortable beds and clean white towels, washer and dryer were also convenient. An old musty odour throughout the unit, living room furniture not as bright as advertised. No AC anywhere, just one fan to share and opening windows will have dirt from ground level blown inside as it is a cellar/basement unit. The close proximity of the shared sink for laundry and kitchen to the toilet was not ideal and unhygienic, it would make a lot of difference to have a separate sink for the kitchen, the toilet seat was not the right size for the bowl making it uncomfortable and awkward to sit on. Shower is one step above ground level we had to get a stool from the shops to use as leverage. Could be a trip hazard when wet. Audible noices from the people upstairs but didn't really bother us. Unit address should be 78A not 78 which can be confusing when you are new to the area.

It was really a good and calm stay. Had a great experience with the house . It had all the amenities . The bed rooms were really big and neatly maintained . I loved the communication that was happening between Team EJ and I. They were very understanding in terms of how late we ended up checking in. The place looked exactly what the pictures show. Just like everyone has shared there is no sink in the main kitchen area you would find it in the wash room area which was a bit unhygienic as it was by the toilet. Eine solide Unterkunft für ein bis zwei Nächte. Für den Preis ganz okay, jedoch musste wir 150€ nur für das Putzen an das B&B zahlen und als wir ankamen war fast alles Besteck sowie viele Teller und Töpfe, dreckig sodass wir sie zuerst durchspülen mussten. Der Fernseher hat nur Chromecast, kein normales Fernsehen, was aber kein Problem war.

It was such a busy time for us and we booked pretty short in advance for us arriving but Team EJ we’re patient and responsive to us which made things way less stressful. It was a nice, private spot that wasn’t too far from any of the places we wanted to go in Auckland. Overall a great spot to stay - especially for the price.

Very comfortable and suited us as close to family. Place is a little tired, could do with a deep clean at end of season. No kitchen sink but able to use one in laundry area. TV and appliances all worked. Off street parking, close to Countdown. If out and about most of the day, perfect stay, comfortable beds.

Wir haben schnell eine Unterkunft in Auckland gebrauch und haben dieses geräumige Airbnb gefunden. Für zwei Personen, wäre der normale Preis zu teuer gewesen, aber es gab zu unserem Zeitpunkt gerade einen Rabatt. Toll fand ich, dass die Host uns über die Evakuierungsstellen (Cyclone Gabrielle) proaktiv informiert hat. Zudem hätte wir mit fragen immer zu ihr gehen können. Wir haben uns da sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Nous avons été assez déçu dés notre arrivée, ma femme à du nettoyer la douche car des cheveux et poils étaient présents, nettoyer le micro ondes encore sale, le pare douche cassé, quand vous avez des enfants c'est un peu pénible pour ne pas en mettre partout. Certaines fermetures de fenêtres étaient cassées. Le fait de faire la vaisselle dans le petit évier de la salle de bain est pénible, car c'est juste à coté des toilettes et il n'y a pas d’évier dans la cuisine. Le fait que le logement se trouve au RDC, vous entendez les voisins du dessus marcher, isolation moyenne. Attention logement sans climatisation . La télévision ne sert à rien car elle n'est reliée à aucunes antennes , ni box . Le point positif, du linge de maison propre, des lits propres et bien fait, une machine à laver et un sèche linge présent . Beaucoup d'ustensile de cuisine , grand frigo et grand congélateur. Environnement au bord de la zone industrielle, un supermarché à 100 mètres reste utile. Prix a revoir ! Yann

Nice and comfortable, though layout for kitchen was strange, bench and appliances in one room and sink in the laundry. Basement conversion, comfortable beds but bathroom was tiny. Nice though overall.

A fantastic place for a fantastic price. Clean, tidy and just great for a big family wanting a nice place to relax and chill. Close to supermarket and other eateries so that was handy. Thank you Team EJ!!!

Advertised as 2x twin/singles and 2x queens. There was only 1x single bed,a old stained fold out bed was left in the hall way to be made up. The shower was old and unclean, the shower door was broken. No coffee machine (which was advertised). Also bowls etc where unclean. The host was not helpful. Very disappointed, would not stay there again.

Excellent location for what we needed with good parking. Communication was fast and efficient. It is advertised with a kitchen but only has 1 portable hot plate, small portable oven and no sink. Dishes had to be done in the laundry. There are people living above and at times very noisy. Check in and check out was super easy.

We had a great stay here! Spaceious flat, big enough for the six of us. There is a very good washing machine and dryer. Groceries and public transport are nearby. A nice owner lives above. The communication was always very quick. Would come here again.

I stayed here for 7 night, I couldn't sleep well every night, because timber floor on upstairs so there were lot of noise all night. Even if people on upstairs went to toilet at night, that small foot step made me awake. And an animal kept running. I had to turn on TV to avoid hearing their conversation all kind of noise, sound from upstairs I was able to hear clearly. I don't recommend this house for someone who want to relax.

A MUST saty for a family!!!! Positive: Great space for our family, great wifi, comfy beds, nice and warm area, great size rooms, great lounge area games and books on offer, great hot water, heating for rooms, great washing machine and dryer we done 2 loads and dried before coming home which means we have none to do now which is amazing lots and lots of positives at this stay. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed!!!

Nice clean space in good location. There were many fun games and books. The kitchen is a bit awkward with sink in a separate room, just outside the tiny bathroom. It was easy to hear the goings-on of people upstairs.

Beautiful home, value for money and comfortable! The only thing we found was it is very loud when the up stairs people walk or run around but I suppose it’s what comes with wooden floors. It wasn’t an issue hence the 5 star but more so just a pre warning for parents with young babies as the creaking may wake up your baby on the odd occasion. Lastly, the TV doesn’t work and we struggled to connect our devices to google chrome also but hei aha. Will definitely be back though! Thank you

Very accomodating - accepted our last minute booking request and they’d put the heaters on so when we arrived late at night, it was nice and toasty. Although not super close to the main arterial routes, this is arguably the best value for money in Auckland. Clean, tidy, modern and spacious. The only dislike would have been the main/only sink is in the laundry (there isn’t one in the kitchen) so for a mum like me with small children, it felt a bit strange soaking clothing in the same sink you would wash your dishes in. Otherwise, very comfortable stay, had a great sleep on the beds, very quiet - you wouldn’t know there’s another home above you, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again team!
