House Rules

Longer Stays: - Stays longer than 14 days require a guest paid refresh clean & linen change on the 14th day and every subsequent 14 days. Check-In and Check-Out: - Please provide expected check-in time. Will we do our best to cater to early check-in requests. - Guests to provide expected check-out time(latest being 10 am) and acknowledge the property will be scheduled for cleaning just after the time they have provided (late check-outs without prior agreement will incur a cleaner turn away charge or a full day rental). - Guest must view the check-in guide prior to arrival to familiarise themselves with the check-in process. - Keys must not be collected prior to agreed check-in time and lockboxes(if any) must be left closed and locked. - Bags or cars must not be stored at the property prior to check-in or after checkout without approval. - Carpark can only be used from check-in time and must be removed at check-out time. During Your Stay: - Please be considerate of the other residents living in the building by being courteous and keeping the noise down to reasonable levels at all times. - Please report any breakages or damage sustained to the apartment during your stay as it allows us to repair/replace it in time for the next guests. - Guest to comply with all rules in messages, check-in guides, house manuals or as posted in any building. - Lockouts: These will incur call-out/building management/security or locksmith charges. - Lost Property: We will do our best to find and return any reported lost item. All cost involved with retuning lost items including time taken is chargeable.

This is an apartment that is set back from another apartment. It is essentially in the Indian part of town, which is totally cool, but there is no designated parking lot. You have to do street parking. Problem with that is that there is NO street parking as the place is pretty popular for people coming to eat Indian food. Check in was very frustrating. They want you to fill out all these forms to get clearance for check in, yet, despite all the hoops they made us jump through, when they provided the PIN code for the lock box, it was the WRONG PIN code. We texted the team and no one responded. Have to them fumble through my phone to get their main office number to call. Luckily it was 5:30 pm and someone was still working. And they ran out of hot water after 2 showers, needing someone to come by to turn on some “valve” for the hot water- which, should have been turned on in the first place. Other than that, rest of place was small but reasonable. Washer and dryer present as well.

Great place to stay as walking distance to shops and cafes, the downside to this is sometimes it was hard to find parking on the street close to the cottage especially as we had 2 cars in our group.

Mixed experience! The place was clean and in a good location. However, the check-in was a bit frustrating as the lock wasn’t working properly. If you love Indian/South Indian food this is the place to be. 2 mins walking distance to many restaurants and caravans by the afternoon. There is a clinic almost outside of the cottage and a pharmacy 2 mins away and the best part is St Luke’s is a 4 min drive away. The place was huge we were a family of 3and felt warm and cozy .Because there is no gate at the main entrance of this place and it’s usually a busy area by the afternoon I had some worries of safety but by the second night we knew we were in a safe place .Our 12 days stay went smooth with no hiccups and I would recommend this place and come back if I get another opportunity to visit Auckland.Thank you so much Team EJ.

It was very modern and clean place and we enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately it was only street parking and we had to park far during the weekend especially at nights but otherwise it was quiet , clean and comfortable place .

The airbnb was placed in such a good location. Supermarkets, dairy, restaurants were all nearby. The place was pretty spotless besides few spiders here and there. Everything was provided and easy to check in. We loved the big kitchen area as there was more than enough room to cook. Would be nice if there was a baking pan provided. The drain in the shower needed to be taken out and cleaned for the water to drain properly. Parking was bit hard to find in the evening. We loved our stay and would stay again in the future! # Pathway to the house was very narrow and the ground was uneven and distracted with large garbage bins & A/c units of adjoining house. Can barely bring in a large luggage. # Curtains were not thick enough to cover the sun light. It was very difficult to sleep in the bedroom since early morning the sunlight came into the bedroom through the curtains. # In the bathroom inside the shower cubicle water did not drain properly and got stagnant completely. # All the cooking pans were heavily scratched and not in a usable condition. # No view at all as this place was surrounded by walls of other houses from all directions. # place was spacious and clean.

While we understand your concerns, the pathway to the house, though narrow, is consistent with the layout of the property and has been navigable for many guests. Regarding the sunlight through the curtains, we do our best to offer a balance of light and privacy, but we’ll certainly look into options to improve that. As for the bathroom drainage, we had no issues until your 4th day of stay, you have to remove the hair when you shower so that it doesn't clog the drain. Regarding the cookware, we were unaware of the condition and will be replacing any items that no longer meet our standards. Lastly, while the property is located in a more private setting, the views are limited, and we always strive to give an accurate representation in our listing. A beautiful cottage tucked in a corner of busy round about. Never felt we are in the city but just 10-15 mins driving from all Auckland attractions. Some great Indian restaurants jst couple of mins walk away. Team EJ was always a msg away.

Place was nice but lock was a problem. Moreover there lock code is same every time you don’t have any lock to lock inside. At least when you are in you should have a lock to keep you safe.

Amazing week stay , enjoyed every part of it . Actually miss the place tbh . Easy and clear directions for how to find the place , fast response , tidy and clean apartment & amazing food stores nearby . Neighbours were very quiet , great atmosphere and warm heater loved it

The house is very clean and spacious however there's no designated car park. The street car park is so busy, especially at night. The neighbour is also noisy at night. We also had a problem with the stove not working therefore we couldn't cook. Other than that the house itself is lovely, modern looking and clean.

One of the best airbnb I have been to. Great value for money; the place was very spacious and cosy. Location is good although close to a main Street and we sometime found it tricky to find an off street parking near the unit. Nothing too major though

Beautiful little cottage. Perfect for 2-3 people. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage immaculate, cosy and had everything we needed for our week stay. Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

Such a lovely little cottage. Clean, good location, the hosts provided everything that was needed. Parking can be a bit tricky at times but nothing major.

Located behind the Sandringham shops. Great for popping out for a quick bite. Place is equipped well with all that is needed.
