Lovely quiet, spacious apartment on the 10th floor with balcony and great views of Catalina Bay. Very comfortable super king bed and well - equipped kitchen, although sadly no coffee machine! Easy walking distance to the vibrant restaurants and cafes in Catalina Bay and to the ferry terminal for getting into Auckland. The location for obtaining the key to the property is a 3 minute drive away or (in our case) a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Not an issue if you have a car, but inconvenient if you don’t! Lack of blinds on the living room windows that look into other apartments.

The apartment is great and at the reduced price well worth it. It is missing the touches that make it stand out as being real quality like curtains for privacy.

Great place really easy and close to pretty much everything. One thing though maybe some curtains or blinds on the windows in the living room/kitchen etc would be nice for privacy. And maybe a washing machine/dryer would be pretty cool too. But all in all good place to stay 😊

Team EJ was very helpful during our stay too, they were great with communicating and recommended a lot of things to do in the area, finding the parking and the room was very easy thanks to their clear instructions, but overall was a great experience and will definitely book with them again in the future!.

My son and I had a wonderful stay! I needed to be in Hobsonville Point for a meeting. My son came with me for a short 3 day road trip. Catalina Bay Sweet Escape was perfect for us. Great location, beautiful accommodation and perfectly located for what we needed.

We had an amazing time at EJ’s place. Beautiful view and surroundings, the coastal walk and Farmers market was the highlight. The area is very family friendly, and the apartment is sparkling clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!

Great apartment in a very modern building. Parking is perfect.
You can take the ferry to Auckland CBD.
Just keep in mind that you need to pick up and return the key somewhere else (1-2km away).
In my case some tableware and the coffee plunger were quite dirty. Probably from the guests before.
Everything else was spotless.
I hated the duvet cover. It was open on all 4 sides and always a mess.

The stay was really nice with stunning view. The instructions were very clear and nice location if you are wanting to have peaceful and quiet getaway (the weather has to be nice). I cannot recommend this place enough! The view was amazing, the peace, the quiet; it truly an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Wonderful beatiful with gorgeous views.
Just a few minor details noted from They have a leaky clothes iron, it spontaneously dumped water all over my clothes & the floor this morning.
The TV also is a little buggy. It sometimes switched off immediately after turning it on, and has some connectivity issues when casting. I only had a problem with Disney+, YouTube seemed to work OK.
The issue caused desync of video/audio, buffering (which took roughly 5 minutes to resolve itself each time you tried to cast), and sometimes caused the TV to turn off. The sound quality was also quite poor, but I understand the owner not wanting to install a sound system that could easily be stolen.
Everything else was absolutely phenomenal, the apartment was pristine, the bed was comfy, having ample lighting options was so helpful for my sensitive eyes, and I very much appreciated having a hair-dryer.

Very nice apartment a few steps from the bay where you can go for a nice walk, fish from the wharf or grab a drink and bite to eat. Apartment is very clean and well presented and the hosts are very friendly and proactive making for a smooth process.
