Really good stay in a very convenient location. It’s a nice efficiency apartment/hotel room with all the essential amenities. I parked in the adjacent public parking structure, which cost $55 per night.

EJ's place is centrally located right on Queen St and a few minutes walk to groceries and tourist spots. I was delighted that I chose this place than going right next to the SkyCity because this place is more centrally located. Very clean with many amenities. Hosts is very responsive.

We had a lovely 5 night stay in the studio apartment. The location was fantastic as it was right in the centre of the city, meaning we could easily walk to everything (great when you want to save money on travel expenses). The studio had everything we needed for our stay. Initially the appliances seemed to not work, I got in contact with Team EJ and they were quick to respond and assist me with how to activate the appliances which was excellent!

lugar muito limpo em ótima localização! instrução bem clara. exatamente como nas fotos apenas com alguns móveis a mais o que é muito bom para armazenar sapatos e outras coisas.
O que nao gostei é que a TV não é smart então só tem programação local para assistir o que é quase raro hoje em dia... Se instalassem um chrome cast seria possível assistir a Netflix ou YouTube por exemplo.

If you want to have a city holiday right in the middle of Auckland this is the place to book. It is a five minute walk to the wharf which has numerous restaurants and ferries available. There is a bus stop practically right outside the front door which worked perfectly for my girlfriend and I because we could go all around Auckland with our HOP cards. The room was completely clean and it had everything we needed and more (The washer dryer was a lifesaver). Would 100% recommend to everyone!

Great stay at City Life, Jason communicated clearly and check in and check out were both a breeze. The location is outstanding for shopping, cafe hopping or direct access to other parts of greater Auckland. We encountered minor issues with the shower not draining properly during the stay but we’re happy for this to be sorted after our check out, the shower was usable on lower mix pressure and we did not want to trouble our host over a weekend stay. Please be aware the City Life told us they do not do parking for private stays on weekends, it is for their direct booking guests only. I suspect the policy changed and the host was unaware so no issues there for us. An excellent stay overall, we will look for this space again if we are ever back working in Auckland again. 5 star rating all around.

Please know that shower drain was a quick fix, however, we were only able to address it after you checked out as you requested this to be dealt with after you have left. The apartment does not come with a car park and although the building offers valet parking for an extra charge and now have made changes on their policy on weekend parking, we have provided other parking options within walking distance from the apartment on our check-in guide. A nice place for two with great internet connection if you have to do a bit of work during your stay.
If you’re after a seaside view than it’s not the place for you. However, for convenience, easy access to other things and places to visit, this is your place. It has everything from iron to washing machine and a coffee maker (capsules). It’s brilliant!
You can access the pool and gym facilities in the hotel but check with reception first. E&J team are brilliant at communicating with you and checking in to make sure you’ve settled in well.
It’s a must stay at spot.

I booked the studio for two weeks in April. The location is great and comes with all the perks of Auckland CBD - supermarkets, shops, banks, sports facilities, numerous restaurants, University, etc. are all very easily accessible.
Getting there from Auckland airport is quite easy. If you are looking for a cheap option, you can walk a bit to the domestic terminal of the airport, buy an AT hop card and get to the city centre for about 5 NZD. It takes about an hour.
The studio itself was, in brief, just like it is presented in the photos. It faces a small backstreet and is somewhat quieter than you might expect from CBD.
The hosts were very friendly. They kindly responded to all my requests and, at appropriate times offered extra services, without being intrusive. Before arriving, I was also sent detailed instructions about getting there, checking in/out, local parking options and so on.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Location was great and the apartment has everything you'll need. The only negative thing would be the bed - the mattress is quite thin and firm. But that's probably a personal preference thing and it's fine for a short stay.

A great place to stay for a few nights (we stayed for 2 nights). The location is the best part of the place - nested in the Citylife hotel, this is as central as it gets. Great options for parking ranging from the valet service to the parking across the road at Victoria Street parking. Place was clean and had everything we needed. As with any place in central Auckland, it can get a bit noisy at night but we slept through just fine! Would certainly consider staying again.

We needed somewhere to stay for 3 weeks. The cute little studio on Queen St matched our price point. It is essentially a hotel room with a very comfortable bed, a bench to drink your morning coffee, a desk that can act as a workstation, a big bathroom and a compact kitchen with microwave, a flash red bar fridge and a washing machine so you can do your own laundry.
Things we liked
* The Natural Earth moisturiser was a nice touch. Those 3 little bottles are some much nicer than the usual hotel fair.
* Love the little red fridge
* I was able to work from the Airbnb with the dedicated wifi. Seriously, if this was regular hotel wifi this would not have been possible.
*The desk and table were great for working from the Airbnb during the 3 day lockdown!
I would definitely stay here again should I be in Auckland.

Little bit smaller than expected from pictures but was everything that we needed.
Absolutely brilliant location and close to everything.
Having a washer/dryer in the apartment was fantastic!
In regards to luggage storage, the best place is the bus terminal at sky city but they are only open from 10-2:30, all other suggested options aren’t actually feasible.
Hosts were amazing in regards to communication, they made sure we settled in okay and replied quickly to any queries.

Great place to stay wish we had longer but alas only one night as we were getting on a ship the next day. It was a really good location for us as we were able to walk down Queen St with our suitcases to the princes quay. It's certainly a very nice apartment, the airport bus brought us almost to the door. Eric couldn't have been more helpful to me when I was being technologically challenged. Thanks Eric.

Great location for a stay in central auckland without access to a car. We walked pretty much everywhere. Right outside skybus stop which was a bonus. Great facilities of gym and pool to use during your stay. Basic cooking facilities.

This studio was right in the middle of downtown Auckland. The waterfront was a quick walk away, Queen St. is right outside your door, and the rest of the city is within easy reach whether you are walking or taking transit. The hosts Lily and Eric left a fantastic booklet full of recommendations (do not skip Food Alley!!) and checked in almost daily to make sure we had everything we need. The washer/dryer was a GODSEND after spending 10 days in a campervan, too. If I get a chance to come back to Auckland (and I hope too, it is one of my favorite cities!) I will definitely search out one of Eric and Lily's properties again!

The location is amazing. It is along the shopping belt of Queen street which has a lot of food options. The toilet is clean and room is spacious. Highly recommended. Only drawback is the early checkout of 10am. Would have preferred a later checkout in the noon.

a last minute booking as our booking with other host was cancelled at the time we arrived :( lucky we found eric&lily’s place ! super fast response and clear instructions, with guides to lovely restaurants and cafe. room is clean and large, big enough for us to stay with large luggages. very convenient location, just a couple of steps to supermarket, cafe, shopping.

This space is great for a short stay in the city. Very central location to all shops, casino and sky tower. Short walk to waterfront location and ferry's. Can be noisy on weekends here but if you don't mind a little street noise and love being in the heart of the action I recommend staying here. We had a great stop by and the owners were very helpful with their communication upon check in and during the stay.

Folks this property IS the CBD. All information provided in the email communication is totally and literally accurate. However the x base backpackers now charge $3 for storage. There’s a great bar around the corner - as well as a Chinese option across the way. I struggled to spend more than $10 per night eating out. For breakfast I discovered the sunflower cafe at 34 Wyndham st. Coffee and eggs benny are ridiculously flavourful and CHEAP!

いつも車を借りるのですがバス亭が至る所にあるので必要ないと思いました。
シティー内は駐車場が高いです。
一歩外を出れば騒がしいので嫌な方は向いてないかもですが部屋の中には届いてこなかったです。

Now this is a place that is exactly as described. The location is definitely central. It's really all you need. No thrills, just exactly what you need if you're looking for a nice place to rest. It is a clean space and is private. There is a lobby that is well presented and always attended to. Eric messages you in the morning to see if he can assist. He was also very accomodating, allowing me an extra hour to check out. Nice guy!

立地は繁華街のど真ん中ですが、横道に入った所にあるため、うるさくはありません。ただ隣の部屋が騒ぐと、それなりに声は聞こえます。広くはないけれど狭いという感じでもない普通の広さかと思います。とにかくとても綺麗です。リフォーム仕立てなのかもしれません。建物自体は新築という感じではありませんが、部屋は新品です。バス、トイレも新品同様でした。表示されている宿泊料に＋９０ドルの清掃料が取られるので、値段を検討する際には注意。フロントデスクがないのですが、鍵の受け渡し方法が後で送信されるメールに写真付きで案内されるので、不便は感じませんでした。プールも使えたので子供は楽しかったようです。 唯一の難点は、荷物を預かってもらえないので、チェックイン時間前に到着する場合や、チェックイン後も街で遊びたい場合は不便です。私の場合は２ブロックくらい離れた所にある、Base backpackersというホステルのラゲッジルームに預けましたが、多くの人が出入りするホステルなので、宿泊の有無も聞かれず無料で置いちゃいました。本当は１つにつき２ドル位払うらしいです。

This apartment was just perfect for me! Location is absolutely great, room tidy and compact, bed big and comfy. All the necessities are there. Appreciated a lot all the tips and hints of places to go and things to do while in town.
