Clean. Comfortable. Affordable. FIVE STARS. Would stay here again. Very nice to be so close to downtown. Is important to note that this is a busy, urban area that has challenges like any city location. That said, the host did good job of giving good instructions to locate and enter apt. Just be prepared to follow the instructions given, or ask questions.

Biblical level shithole Positive: Nothing! This is we one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The check-in process was hell. We were told the name of the lockbox so we wasted hours looking for the garage, fighting traffic, fondling the wrong lock box worried the code was wrong. Then, when we checked in there were globs of black hair everywhere. We’re still finding black hair in socks and clothes from the dryer. There was a dried booger on the wall, no WiFi, sheets were itchy. I couldn’t be paid to stay here again! Negative: The building is like a prison- a key card is needed to pass through 4-6 doors before entering your own apt. The hallways smell like cigarettes and take out curry and the walls are thin so it always sounds like someone is trying to bust in. The ice cubes in the tray were also brown and greenish- WTF?! I’ve stayed in hostels in Vietnam nicer than this dump

it was an amazing stay to say the least, everything clean and just nice, one thing which i have pissed of about is the fact that my car got towed cause i parked in the other side of the building and the hotel manager didn’t contact me nothing but instead told the tow company to tow my car, then which i had to pay $385 dollars to get the car out. the hotel owner/manager could’ve at least called me or told someone to inform us.

The location is great - centrally located in Auckland City and accessible to many site setting places in Auckland. The check-in procedure is smooth as the team provides necessary support. A pleasant stay overall. The only thing to improve is that there should be a better air filtering system as I can smell my neighbor cooking curry.

Location and view of the appartment are great. Also the communication with team EJ was very good. However, the appartment is not as new and bright as it looks on the pictures. And it gets pretty hot on sunny summer days.

The communication was very good. Very fast, pro-activ an reliable. We could check in a little earlier and check out an hour later which helped us a lot. We had some complaints about the cleanliness of the apartment which was taken care of.

Great little two bedroom space with firm comfortable beds. Convenient location to almost all surrounding Auckland regions. Side note we weren't aware of was apartment is located on 10th floor, so hauling luggage and shopping up and down was a struggle. Ideally two sets of keys would have been better than just one set. Overall, great stay for the price.

It was an easy stay with clear instructions for self-check in and an easily accessible car park. The room is basic but comfortable and in a good location. There is some road noise and no air conditioning, so you may have to open a window and hear the noise.

Such a beautiful place & with an amazing view! So convenient for the events we had in place for the weekend. Also catered well to our disabled child. Clear instructions for check in & out. The team was very responsive if anything was needed or needed to know. Clean & tidy place also, it does get pretty loud but that was expected as it's in the midst of the CBD. Our priority in booking this apartment was because they confirmed prior to us booking that the pool would be open. This was very important as we had children. To our disappointment this was not the case when we arrived and was a real negative to our stay.

Wasn't my favourite place to stay but it wasn't too bad either. + good location + georgeous view + fast wifi + small but usable gym - very small spaces - very bad smell in front of the apartment door(not inside but still annoying everytime you come and go). I mentioned as soon as we arrived but nothing happened while we were there. - we couldn't use the free parking option after our 2nd day because the remote controller for the gate stopped working. I also let our host know immediatly and also nothing happened about it even though he told us the maintanence team will come and fix it, so we had to park on the street but it wasn't to expensive because there are lots of parking options around for about 20-30 Nzd/day. - the pool is only available during the summer.

Positive: We had a wonderful staying at this apartment. Beds are so comfortable (pretty much), nice kitchen, 2 rooms not close to each other, so you don't hear anything from others, laundry and drier in the bathroom, living room and nice view from balcony. All the support was given to us when we sent a message, and the place is close to the main things you need in downtown. Definitely will come back if in Auckland again. Negative: Nothing.

I wouldn't stay here again Positive: Location was good Negative: Had trouble with the gate key took 2 days to get fixed had to get ubers because I couldn't get my car out The place was so dirty all windows n shower needed a clean It smelt like curry I specifically asked if the pool was available to which they said yes all year round only to find out when I got there it's closed during winter. This was the only reason why I booked this place. This is not a hotel it's an apartment inside a complex which it doesn't state on the website. I'm still waiting to hear about when I'll be payed the $300 security deposit

Good facilities, central location, and quick response to requests and queries. Negative: The booking process was arduous and suspicious - and not well-explained or backed-up to avoid feeling like it is fraudulent. Initial collection lockboxes and address were incorrect, but then rectified quickly. Would like to see a more secure door lock or security chain on apartment door, particularly when a young woman is staying there alone.

Was happy until Bookabach added a service fee which was not mentioned in any totals. Basically ripped off. This is overpriced. Very disappointed.

The property is well located next to motorway on and off ramps and Queen St. The apartment had everything we needed, although some items were suffering from a bit of wear and tear. Pool in the pictures was empty. The building that the property sits within has a prison feel, with a cramped foye/lift area and metal gangways to each apartment. Not suitable for young families. I found the property manager hard to correspond with. They required photos of my credit card (back and front, which I refused to send) in addition to full payment, cleaning fee and a bond. I wasn't sent any details of the checkin process until I requested them the night before we were due to travel and it took over 2hrs of messages to recieve them - very stressful start to a holiday!

The apartment was super central and within walking distance of Queen Street. However, the building had a strong (overwhelming) smell of spices which also made it's way into the room. The walls of the apartment were quite grubby and could do with a repaint and the water pressure was weak. We also had a very uncomfortable interaction with a resident who was clearly intoxicated and covered in vomit. They were wandering the halls and followed us into the elevator and onto the street. This is a good spot if you are staying a short time and going to a gig. Having a car park in the city is super helpful.

This apartment is managed. Amenities were broken and we were told they would be fixed at a particular time and they weren’t. We often got canned responses instead of personal ones. The building was in a sketchy neighborhood and trying to retrieve the key that was attached to some random gate just seemed strange. Smoke and mirrors- I asked for a refund and it was ignored. One word: avoid.

Although the location was great, the apartment was tired and needed renovating. Getting the key and parking were difficult due to the one-way system. Upon entering the apartment, there was a strong smell of curry. Additionally, I was disappointed to be charged a $190 cleaning fee for less than a day's use and the kettle didn't work.

Check in was so stressful. comms is via a call center service so they talk off a script and have no power to remedy anything. Call center services are fine if the systems for cleaning places, checking in etc are tight but their system failed big time for us. If I’m going to deal with an impersonal service then I may as well go to a hotel. We ended up checking in 2 hours later than had been agreed. Which threw all of our family evening plans out. We cancelled our dinner reservation for my DAUGHTERS BDAY because we ran out of time. Gutted! What was most disappointing tho is it was clear to Team EJ that this was an issue but nothing was done to remedy it other than the usual call center scripts that we’ve all heard before. I didn’t need money or a discount, a msg saying ‘hey we messed up, as a result you checked in 2hours later than we had agreed, so you can check out 2 hours later!’ Instead they asked me to rate them 5 stars saying that if I don’t Airbnb penalise them! 🙄 two stars

Nothing like the photos! Dirty on arrival, despite having to pay a cleaning fee.we had to clean it ourselves before we unpacked, vacuum cleaner did not suck up at all, found it was completely blocked with foam, hair and dust. Kettle in kitchen broken leaking water over my phone charging on the bench. Bathroom tiles cracked and leaked mud on the mat everytime the shower was used. Tried to raise concerns with the property management company/owner? when we asked to be part compensated for the cleaning fee and faults, they stopped replying to our emails.

After plane delay and late arrival then having difficulty finding the key, then finding the old tired worn out apartment that we were paying top dollar for - with no air con, faulty fans, stained furniture and cramped space - our first impressions of our New Zealand holiday were not good. Team EJ were very responsive until I notified them of the dirty apartment, to which they did not reply. We don’t like writing a negative review, but we feel with a revamp of the apartment and the addition of air conditioning the experience would be much more pleasant.

Positive: This apartment is very poorly maintained, the beds were rickety, small, and not stable. The kitchen dishwasher did not work, the toilet only has a tiny washbasin no vanity and 4 adults are expected to use it, also small and smelly. I rang the host thrice after check-in and wanted a refund, but no one cared to get back to me. Very bad experience.

Would not recommend! Place was absolutely disgusting. Couch was covered in stains, table and chairs had crumbs & chocolate all over them. Cupboards & toilet dirty, shower was mouldy the oven was filthy & the bed covers had some sort of black mold/dirt on them and one of the bed had a pubic hair. Was a very stressful start to our family holiday trying to find another place to stay. Photos looked amazing and then the furniture that was in there was nothing to the photos. Also had no cleaning products to clean not that we should had to clean. Do Not Stay Here.

What the hosts don’t tell you is that this apartment is in a WINZ hostel complete with unmasked meth addicts in the hallways, regular patrols from drug detector dogs (I wish I could attach a photo) and a security guard in a booth in reception. We arrived really late at night so had to stay one very uneasy night, checked out by 8am and booked in a much better place for the rest of our stay. I told the hosts all of this a couple of hours after we arrived, told them I expected a refund and they sent a vague “we will look at it response” and then complete radio silence for the rest of the week, including ignoring the Airbnb support desk who made a number of attempts to get hold of them. At the time of writing I’m still over a grand down and no idea if I’ll get a refund. You have been warned.

Location is amazing! The place is probably better set up for a short weekend visit than a week long stay. the worst stay that I ever had Positive: nothing to be honest, the worst booking that I ever been Negative: I didn’t like the cleaning service, because my first night over there I found a dirty underwear on the sheets and also hair so we didn’t have a good sleep. The second day I asked to clean the sheets and towels and the cleaners take all the towels. So we didn’t have anything for take a shower that day. With covid omicron just around the corner, it is not possible to have this hygienic service and the answers was “our cleaners finish for today” is not safe to everyone. And also I asked for more toilet paper because we just had 3 toilet paper (of course we were 4 people and 5 days staying) and the answer was “the nearest supermarket is…” All of this make me very disappointed to paying more than $1000 and don’t get any refund about this bad service. I will upload the photos about the underwear and hair on the bed.

Very disappointing offering no refund due to the level 4 lockdown all of New Zealand had to comply with. Profiting off the loss of other New Zealander is extremely disappointing and will not be booking again although a frequent traveller. Times like this is when the country comes together to support one another and when profit becomes more important than the care of others that’s not the business you want to be supporting. Would not recommend booking with the changes in alert levels and considering this was booked at a time NZ had no indication we would go into lockdown and still not refund for a whole weeks trip after only staying 2 days. Until covid is a distant thought would definitely not book if you want peace and mind

Very well equip, clean, tidy apartment for our weekend stay, close to town shopping etc and with a decent view, comunication with hosts was simple, instructions were very easy to follow with helpful tips to help us enjoy our stay, definatly recommend :)

Great apartment with incredible views of the Harbour, bridge and city. Close to the best bagel cafe ever, the viaduct and a host of great eateries. Safe and secure and a good well appointed space. The apartment does get a bit stuffy at night but the doors can be left open on the balcony. Would happily stay again as it is excellent value for money. Friendly helpful hosts seal the deal.

The place was tidy but had a weird smell. Hosts failed to mention not only do drug dogs run through the property on a regular basis , but that there is also physical security at night even though the building needs a fob to get inside, and after the stay I was accused of breaking items and smoking inside ! I Have read other reviews on these hosts from other properties where they have also accused other guests for damages and have charged. do not reccomend staying here ,unless you have the time to analyze the property and take photos of any damages before you relax to enjoy your stay and are okay with all the security and procedures in place that the hosts do not tell you about 👎

Reasonably priced, central accommadation, close to the city. It has what is needed to cook but the dishwasher didn’t work and though we were told it would be looked at, this did not happen. Apart from that it suited our needs well. The beds were comfortable and the view from the living room was lovely.

Good central spot to visit Auckland. Nice little apt with good view and big open living room sliding door for fresh air. Easy to walk all over and get to the ferry. The place is nice and fresh and clean and the beds are comfy.

Excellent location and the amenities - washer, dryer and pool suited our little family perfectly. The metro bus and Skybus stops were just around the corner which made it easy and cheap to get to the zoo and airport. Caught some beautiful sunsets from the veranda and our 3 year old loved the city lights at night. Also Eric and Jason were very attentive and provided everything for a great stay. Thank you.

This was a great place to stay - so central. we live in a rural location so were worried about noise in an apartment - this was so quiet. Immaculately clean with lovely towels and toiletries. easy walk to town, can't fault it at all and would definitely stay there again - great value for money.
