We stayed for 12 nights winter months. The location was excellent – Milford Reserve is lovely. Across the street from a great kids park and the Beach. SUPER! Nice mall within walking distance and for groceries. The beds/linen were very comfy which is a biggy for us and ample heaters to keep the rooms warm during the winter months. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and we cooked daily. The only downsides were the check-in time at 4:00PM too late (even 3+ hotels are 2-3pm), we had same as for a guest who wrote review last year (2024), the upstairs bathroom (next to kitchen) has an issue with the drainage and the shower was letting off a terrible sewage smell for 3-4 days from the drain that we had to cover and keep window wide open and door closed. Communication was good with property managers and maintenance teams came out twice for shower problem. We had a nice stay- weather was brilliant! The neighbors were friendly! Thank you!

Enjoyed our 2 nights here, (group of 4 adults). Very clean, open plan home with comfy beds and good linen. Kitchen has everything you need and the showers were great too. Our hosts were great through the whole process allowing for smooth check-in, a comfy stay and easy departure, thanks again.

The location is ten-out-of-ten if you need to be on the north shore. One minute from a park/playground, two mins from the beach, ten from the shopping centre. The property is bright, functional and pleasant. Two issues to note: 1. Map apps direct you to the back of the property on an entirely different street, five minutes' walk away. This isn't a problem except every Uber or food delivery driver gets it wrong. 2. It's run by one of those short-term-rental management companies with no personal touches. The only kitchen staples were a few creamer cups in the fridge -- no toast, biscuits or coffee machine. Not the end of the world, but for a thousand-plus dollars on a four-night stay, a half-carton of milk and a bowl of fruit would be nice after a long flight. Still, my cousin lives up the road and I'd happily return to this property -- for the location and the pleasant living area.

The location and the house were excellent. We have 4 kids and the park and beach across the road were a real bonus. Nice and close to the shops for coffee or groceries too. The place has been renovated, the bathrooms are nice and roomy. They had supplied heaters so the rooms were nice and warm. The only downsides, the oven temp gauge was broken, they advertised it as with BBQ but there was no BBQ tools at all, not even thongs - that was an adventure. The upstairs bathroom must have an issue with the drainage as the shower was letting off a terrible smell/gas from the drain that we couldnt use it and had to cover it. The bins were left at the bottom of a steep driveway, the recycling was overflowing badly with rubbish - needed attention sooner I would say as a couple of council stickers on it. Other than those small issues the stay was comfortable and would definately stay again. Communication was prompt regarding these issues.

Unfortunately there was diggers operating in the driveway & had been there for 2 weeks. We were not made aware of this. Extremely noisy. The house was not overly clean. Had no curtains in the bathroom or living areas. If Stay Hub had been able to find an alternative house close by, we would have moved. Wouldnt stay here again

Title: Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended My stay at this property was highly disappointing. The house was in poor condition, with significant issues that greatly impacted our comfort. Broken curtains in the main bedrooms took two days to repair, leaving us unable to sleep there until fixed. The single air conditioner for the entire house was inadequate, making nights uncomfortably hot with no ceiling fans. Additionally, one bathroom flooded and was only fixed on our last day. Most concerning was the unauthorized entry into our apartment by maintenance personnel, leaving us feeling vulnerable. The internet was slow, and basic amenities were lacking. Despite requesting a refund, the host remained unresponsive. Only a minor compensation was received through Airbnb's coverage. Overall, I cannot recommend this host. The lack of property maintenance, unauthorized entry, and unresponsiveness to guest concerns made for a highly unpleasant experience.

Although we had some significant issues finding the house (address was wrong on the listing, the check in instructions had the wrong house description (third on the left rather than third on the right) and the key box was not in the described place) once we found it and got inside we loved it. The house had a gorgeous view and was well appointed. It was warm and homely. We enjoyed the park opposite and walk to the beach. We also appreciated the cleanliness.
