I attended a two day event at Spark Arena and it was perfect for me to stay the night. I didn't need to eat in the area but having a look around, there are choice eateries within a 10min-20min walk of the area. There's a supermarket located very close a choice of public parking available as well. The premises was very clean and the bed is so comfy I wish I could stay again tonight.

This is one of my favourite stays. Very affordable and worth the price. Place has everything you need. Very private too. Fast internet (100Mbps+) is another plus. Highly recommended place for solo travellers like me, or a couple. Looking forward to staying here again. Thank You!

This property should not be on Airbnb. Three attempts to get Wifi working, TV only goes with Chromecast which didn’t work, needs a lot of maintenance and was not clean. Blood stain on the duvet, curtains broken, kitchen floor hadn’t been washed, rubbish bin hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. I had to check out when water started coming through the ceiling and host is refusing to refund. The smell in the common area leading into the apartment is vile, there was a bucket there collecting water too. The worst Airbnb experience ever.

The place had all the amenities you need and the location was good, close to Queen street, bus stops etc. However my check in was late and the apartment a bit noisy (which is quite typical in the CBD because of the street noice).

The place itself was really worth what was paid for. All listed amenities and more were included. I personally loved the kitchen area. Nie mehr wieder!!! Lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben, denn in dieser Unterkunft hausen müssen! Positive: Absolut nichts, diese Unterkunft ist zu vermeiden! Negative: Gar nichts!! Schrecklichste Unterkunft ever, überall staubig, Schrank fällt auseinander, Kabelsalat, Toaster kaputt, TV nicht funktionstüchtig! Anonyme Gastgeber; dreckiges und stinkiges Treppenhaus, dafür überall Videokameras zur Überwachung, schrecklich! Schlüsselkasten saudreckig, hängt zuunterst am Boden des Nebengebäudes, was unmöglich ist zu finden, wenn man abends bei Dunkelheit ankommt.

We stayed at EJ’s place for a month and the location is lovely. It’s very near to britomart station and queen street is around the corner. There are loads of good restaurants nearby and close to auckland universities too. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Just that since it’s located in the downtown, you can hear some noises of people or the cars on the street during the night.

Comfy and cosy Positive: It's handy to the city and it was fairly easy to find. Great directions and easy to understand. Everything was comfy and good. Negative: The bedframe could be updated, the fan was a bit too small and when I had a shower there was still pink mold (just double-check this often as this quite normal. Maybe change your towels from white to a different colour due to makeup residue)

We had a great stay here! The WiFi was strong, the bed was really comfy, and the location was great for accessing downtown and the train station. Bring ear plugs if you’re not used to the city traffic though 😊 Would stay here again!

Great price for what it is. Location is good. But no aircond and I found it very hot to stay in the middle of summer. Not the best if you need stay in during the day. Probably awesome in other seasons. There is a small fan though.

The location is good. The unit is at the top of an apartment building and there's no aircon so the room is very hot (1 night it was 29 degrees). You can open the window but this makes little difference and just let's in the traffic noise

Wonderful place for a short stay close to CBD. Quite clean. The only downside is the heat due to being the top floor without AC, but a fan is provided!

The building is a bit impersonal and without character, but it is very conveniently located and the apartment is clean and comfortable. The windows aren’t double glazed, so even though the apartment is quite high up there is still quite a lot of noise from the street and it can get cold. A fan heater was provided but I was nervous about the risk of a fire. The hosts were very helpful in providing an extra blanket and an oil heater.

Hi Guy, Thank you for choosing our place and staying with us. The photos on the Airbnb listing represent the actual place and building. It is very safe as you would need a security swipe card for access. The apartment is centrally located, and yes, you get some daytime hustle and bustle. The windows and doors are double glazed so the noise would be minimal; if closed. The fan heater is safe with a stop sensor if that falls over. We have provided an extra blanket and an oil heater as per your request.

Excellent location easy walk to britomart viaduct spark arena etc. unfortunately during my stay I was on 6th floor and lift was out of order having a disability I found this extremely difficult up n down

Fantastic location, really close to transport and everything you need is a short walk away. The apartment was clean, it is fairly basic but the team supply everything you need. Shower has great pressure and temperature. Eric & Jason are so responsive. One comment which is completely personal preference, the bed and pillows are VERY soft. It was clean and for a short stay, we managed. But just a heads up for the medium-firm bedders (I'm a solid 'firm'!).

Great location, excellent communication with staff. Safe and secure. Positive: Location was great, very secure with auto locking doors meaning not just anyone could enter. A quick 5min lime scooter down to queen street. Negative: Nothing, it’s was great.
