Was very close to town which was convenient for us , unfortunately it was quite cramped. We expected it to be small but the second bedroom was very cramped and too hot as it had no windows and a small space i wouldn’t recommend for four people three would be fine. It had everything you need such as cooking facilities. It could of been cleaned a bit better before we arrived but overall it did what we needed it to

Positive: The location to the Sky Tower and central city was amazing and the space clearly has a lot of potential and has likely been a great apartment in the past. Negative: The host requested a security deposit via a third party, and while I understand Booking.com allow this. The detail was buried in their listing. And then it was wrong and when we went to pay said security deposit (after already paying the non refundable room fee) we were asked for almost twice the amount. We tried to raise this concern but were met with bot responses. Throughout the stay we received ongoing messages which were clearly historically pre-set up messages. And while this is okay usually, They tried to play off that they were direct messages yet they contained old, outdated, or broken links or details. The apartment block appears to house a colourful array of characters, they were actually all really nice though. And the accommodation in itself was clean enough in terms of the bed was freshly made, but the floors anywhere not a main walkway that if you say dropped a pillow you weren't going to want to use it again, there were marks over many of the walls to the point we were worried the host may claim that we caused them and try to keep the security deposit (which was almost as much as our two night stay), mold by some of the doorways, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the fake greenway by the balcony was falling down and to top it off we had cockroaches.

Good place to stay in the city. Everything is very close by and convenient. The team was very supportive. However i requested for a days extension and it was very expensive so I had to shift to a different place for a day.

Highly recommend... Was a but nervous checking in as I’ve seen reviews with complaints. Upon arriving, checking in was easy and the place was really comfy. There was only 1 elevator but it was fairly easy to ride until the last day where both was out of service. Although it was no problem as there is access to another set of elevators at the back. There’s no aircon, but 2 fans were provided (and made sure to ask). I don’t think it would be comfortable to stay during the summer as it can get hot. Location wise - it was easy to get around. Can walk everywhere or take a bus. Near Queen st, sky tower, and can even walk to quay if you like to walk.

Handy location and great if you're an easy sleeper. The apartment is smaller than it appears in the photos but a functional size if you're mostly out and about. Fairly clean. There are 2 bedrooms, they are very small, and both have drawbacks. The back bedroom is larger but does not have a blind that covers the window fully, and there are exceptionally bright lights to the rear of the building, a bright modem and a flashing internet extender box positioned in the top corner of the room. The 2nd bedroom is tiny, internal with a window shining from the living space and, with the door shut, has no ventilation. There is no aircon. Leaving window or door open is very loud. If you have no problem sleeping this may not bother you but we found it difficult. The apartment is on the 9th floor and accessed via a breezeway (be aware if you're scared of heights). The lift was out of service regularly, which was a hassle with groceries etc. Large blood splatter on the wall next to the lift

Pro’s: - well equipped kitchen; - comfortable beds; - washing machine; - great ironing steam system; - helpful and responsive hosts; - little cozy balcony with a nice view; - a drier and a little gym downstairs; - good location, very central and close to everything (could get a bit noisy though - there are quite a few party bars/venues in the area, which would normally turn the noise down after 11 pm). Cons: - bad soundproofing (heard neighbours upstairs quite a lot); - the apartment can get very hot in the summer days. Open windows help but it gets quite noisy if you a light sleeper (I could barely sleep like this). Once you close the windows there’s almost no ventilation, so the rooms get quite warm and stuffy. All in all, would still recommend the place (especially for colder months).

This apartment was clean and the location was very nice, however, this space should not be advertised for 4 people. It is a very small apartment and we felt very cramped. This apartment is also on a high level floor and one of the two elevators were out of service, so it took a long time to get in and out of the apartment. Overall, not bad, just would not recommend for more than 2 people.

Pros - host is very responsive. Amenities provided. Clean sheets and towels. Central location. Cons - we went in Dec and it’s around 15c at night. Both rooms were very stuffy and the apartment has a strong smell, very poor ventilation. We did not feel the neighbourhood nor the security in the balcony between neighbouring apartments allowed for balcony doors / windows to be kept open for airflow. Beds were very squeaky, uneven and overall uncomfortable. Both rooms were bright from lights outside apartment after closing all the blinds available. Traffic noise was apparent even with ear plugs. We were family of 4 and no one in the group was able to sleep much during our stay. Apartment is more suited to groups of 2 only due to size, also there is no room in the bathroom to dry towels for 4, not even enough chairs to try and hang towels of. Toilet roll is behind towel rack, thus you can’t reach it without lifting up wet towels. If you intend to stay - take eye mask and ear plugs.

Team EJ was consistently responsive. The apartment is just as describe and matches the pictures. Be aware that the apartment does not have central heating. The host did not make that known. However, Team EJ quickly responded when the issue was brought up and quickly brought over multiple space heaters (3) which is enough to keep the apartment warm and cozy. The apartment was a lovely base for us in Auckland. Wish we could have stay longer ^^

The location was great - easy to walk to the major downtown locations. You have to be used to major city noises - traffic, sirens, etc. If you are, this is a great place to stay. Views are fantastic! Very clean as well. Washer included - dryer is in common area ($5 per load to dry). Best for 2 people - 4 might be crowded. Would stay again.
