I was overall satisfied with my stay, but I was disappointed to see that the issue with the dryer, which was mentioned by previous tenants, had not been fixed. I notified Team EJ, who promptly sent out a repair guy, but he merely identified the issue.

I had a wonderful stay! The flat is brilliantly located and has everything you need. I stayed a week for Conference/visit and I never had to walk farther than 15 minutes. Shower is great, bed is great, view is to die for! Hosts were responsive and helpful! Just make sure you are a deep sleeper or bring ear buds as noise at night does travel! I was very happy to find this place when I needed last minute city central accommodation! I had to stay unexpectedly for work so needed a comfortable bed, washer/dryer (which were in perfect working order thankfully, I read the older reviews after booking and worried but it was all sorted!!) and to be able to cook. This checked all the boxes. The incredible views and location was icing on the cake. Note that the key is a little walk away, not on site, but the instructions were super clear and communication was good so that was all good for me. I was checking out early before they opened and it was fine to leave the key in the apartment. Overall I would stay again 😊

As someone who has multiple 5 star reviews on airbnb, I rarely will leave a bad review especially if the staff is friendly and responsive. After getting a 200usd charge for a toilet that was broken before arriving, that is all changing. If you book this airbnb, the location is convenient, but certain things don’t work. Don’t get groceries. I had to buy ice bags because the freezer and fridge were not working. This was after the same fridge was beeping like an alarm system. Again, while the location was convenient, I would’t stay here ever again. Not even for free.

They constantly pressure you to enter your credit card and personal details into a link outside of Booking.com. Positive: Está bien ubicado Negative: What can I say about this accommodation? It was a terrible experience, even before I actually stayed there. If you are considering booking this place, you should know that, besides paying in advance, they will constantly send you messages and pressure you to fill out an external form (outside of Booking.com) where they ask you to submit your credit card details. They tell you that if you do not complete this external form, they will not provide you with access to the property. Also, if you notice, the address that appears on Booking.com is only a general address — it is not the exact location. Since it is a self-check-in property, they will only send you the check-in instructions if you complete their external form with your personal information and credit card details. They pressure you repeatedly to do this. Beyond this unacceptable behavior (considering that they already require prepayment), the problems continued after arrival. When I arrived, the toilet was clogged, and it took them over 24 hours to fix it. The smell was disgusting. The apartment was also not perfectly clean upon arrival. On the first day, there was no hot water, and I had to take a cold shower. I reported the issue and asked them to fix it, but no one came. The next day, again, there was no hot water and I had to take another cold shower. Two days in a row with cold showers, a clogged toilet, and poor communication and resolution from the hosts. Please do not make the same mistake I did by booking this place quickly in Auckland — it has been a complete headache.

Very horrible experience here. As is it a common mistake to make my partner and i accidentally locked our key inside of our room, we then immediately tried to contact the host to see what our options were, the host took 30-45 minutes to respond telling us there was a lockout fee that needs to be paid and management had been contacted, we then waited an hour for a response after agreeing to pay the fee. we had to resort to calling the Airbnb support due to very poor communication from the host just to be told 2 hours later that they did not have a spare key and they couldn’t help us, although we had alternative options for accommodation, we were left unaccommodated for the night because the hosts are not prepared for situations as such. Overall do not recommend this Airbnb.

There is the plunger in the bathroom that shows you it'll block some time, somewhere. The kitchen sink was blocked from the start and they asked us to re-set the button under the kitchen sink. Really??? Finally, the plumber came at 10 pm at night and fixed it. "Lift has ongoing maintenance at the moment. It might stop. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause." Our room was 15th floor. We were so scared as the lift was slow and shaking. I could've left the key in the room when I checked out but no one told us so took it back to the store(10 min walk) and the store doesn't open until 10am on Sunday. Oh no. No one told us anything. As a result, we missed our bus. Basically, we weren't happy staying there except the location. I don't think we go back again.

EJs airbnb is a good place to stay. I would say that the two downsides are that a) although picking up the key from a different location isn’t far, it is still a hassle when you have a lot of luggage. But it was fine. B) The dryer. Before I booked I noted that quite a few people had spoken of the dryer not working well however I booked anyway to discover it still hasn’t been fixed. I think that could have been fixed by now, or at the very least a clothes horse for the deck. Mostly this is a hassle when you are on a working trip and need to keep clothes clean and also only being provided only 2 towels which I prefer clean. But that’s just me. Communication was good, it was nice and clean and the decor is nice. Thank you for having us.

The apartment is clean and located in an excellent area. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for families with infants, as there are no infant amenities provided. Additionally, tissue paper was unavailable, and when I reached out to the team, they instructed me to purchase it myself, submit the receipt, and wait for reimbursement. This was inconvenient as I had to visit the marketplace for something so basic. I also requested an early check-in by just one hour, but they were unhelpful and asked me to pay extra for it. Moreover, the building has only one elevator, which can be time-consuming. To make matters worse, the elevator was out of service for several hours during my stay, creating significant inconvenience since the apartment is located on the 16th floor.

Communication was excellent from enquiring about the apartment to booking and all throughout our stay to check out. Almost immediate responses which was great! Very clear instructions on collecting the key at the mini mart. Guy was friendly. Approx. 5 min walk from key collection to apartment, which isn't too far however we had all our luggage and it was raining so would recommend if travelling with a lot of luggage and with 2 or more people, someone can wait at apartment with luggage while the other person walks to collect key. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Very tidy and a bonus with the little balcony. Great location right in the heart of the CBD. The only thing we had a little trouble with was the dryer, it would switch off after a few minutes so we had to keep restarting it. But this was communicated with Team EJ who responded immediately saying they would get it looked at after we checked out. Overall I highly recommend this place and we'll be back :)

pluses: location, cleanliness inside, communication, nespresso pod machine minuses: bedroom so small nowhere to put suitcases, not even a luggage holder; nowhere in bedroom to put clothes...cupboards at front door had hanging rail, as a wardrobe, but was filled haphazardly with cleaning gear- mop, vacuum cleaner etc; only 1 towel each for 5 days..thought we could at least dry them in the dryer as no heated rails but dryer not working..advised owner, general maintenance person came, said he'd get an appliance repairman...no one else came. balcony and outdoor area dirty including very dirty glass access doors from bedroom and lounge.

Great location and place to stay. Parking is extortionately expensive which is why it’s readily available - but costs 75 nzd per night. We did have a problem with the dishwasher be the host was super attractive to get it fixed.

Not very accomodating host Positive: The localtion is covenient. It is situated in the middle of the city. Negative: I just hated that they did inform about how the key had to be collected somewhere else. I spent more than an hour to get the key, talk to the team and get into the room. The room is pretty small and was not well cleaned. The hosting team was not ver accomodating. They expected us to manage everything ourselves.

Great location with proximity to all kinds of activities and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay. Only issue was the noise--even being 15 floors above street level, we could hear the loud bar noises, singing from the karaoke bar nearby and buskers, traffic noises etc., all night long. The place is definitely worth the money--just remember to bring ear plugs for sleeping!

very central, walkable locationbut the key wasn't at the pickup location, so I had to wait for it to be delivered. I had been traveling all night. i was first asked to go to get the key but I didn't have a car and had been up all night (by now it was 6 pm and I left SFO at 11 p.m.). it was brought to me and arrived within 20-30 minutes. the shopkeeper was very nice and asked me to have a seat. Also checkout was interesting. I took the key back to where I picked it up and it was closed. it was 6 am and I was a female alone with my luggage downtown. I had to improvise and hide the key where they could find it. the stay was nice. the host extremely quick to respond...except at 6 a.m. I wish I could have viewed the television from the bed...but we can't have everything. if you are afraid of heights don't book this room. it was well appointed and I was able to do laundry but the dryer made all of the windows fog up.

Very nice stay! Positive: Central location, nice and comfortable place with terrasse well-furnished with all appliances, ease of communication with the staff during the stay. Negative: Collecting the keys was difficult for my partner as he arrived first but the instructions were sent to me while I was still on the plane. After that, everything was perfect.
