Very discomfort …personally I will not recommend anyone Positive: NA Negative: To be honest I didn’t like the arrangement. Upon arrival I was drop off at wrong location. When I called for assistance I was told to that I was pending with holding deposit -NZD 5 00.00 (kindly credit same to our account) This was not advertised in booking.com. I came right from Fiji with my family to spend holidays. This kind of welcome was very frustrating. While giving house for BNB pls cut the grass…environment is something which gives positive vibes. i have also included pictures too

0/10 Scam and a Disgrace Positive: absolutely nothing Negative: a long list - Starr's with the check in process, absolute scam taking you off the Booking.com site. I have no idea who has my I'd or credit card info. the unit is a below section of the hous4 and so noisy with upstairs guests. first night someone checked in at 2am and moving furniture til 4. the shower doesn't drain and I wouldn't even give it 0/10 - also no ovem or cooking. my tow3ls and clothes stolen as its a shared laundry - disgrace

Read the fine prints. Too expensive for the condition of the house. This is for the bottom floor only. Tenants at top floor very noisy. You can hear everything cannot sleep at all my 4 nights that we were there. Cutleries were rusted and old. Cleaning sponge old and dirty for the amount of money they charge for 5 nights they should be able to provide better utensils. No stove just hot plates. The toilet cannot be closed properly. Now they are trying to charge me $371 for a broken mirror that I didn’t know about. Mind you the mirror was placed on top of a bedside drawer. It was not secure to the wall. It was just a mirror with no frame that was probably picked from dump or Salvos. If I broke it I would be happy to pay $40.

Die Unterkunft entsprach nicht ganz den Bildern. Sie hat muffig gerochen und es waren Flecken und Löcher in der Wand. Das größte Problem war aber das man ein Fenster nicht schließen konnte und deswegen bei uns eingebrochen wurde und wir beklaut wurden. For the most part, things were fine. The check in process was straight forward, the place was clean. The listing/advertisement itself is not entirely accurate, for example it advertises a balcony and an oven, neither of which are present. The real downer, however, is that the house in general doesn't seem up to standard with the wiring/electricity. There is a family renting upstairs and as soon as they came home from work, it was just over for everyone. Power was just continuously shutting off (first time it happened, my mum was there looking after.our one year old and it went off 8x in 3 hours because someone used the washing machine). This continued over the entire night and the next morning, with something just as basic as boiling the jug. It became obvious very quickly nobody could use more than one electrical thing either upstairs or downstairs without it tripping out the whole house. This obviously then became super restricting as we hardly ever get time away.from the farm and we couldn't then use like, the tv and a heater at the same time. The family upstairs were lovely and we felt really badly for them being so restricted in their own home. I feel bad leaving a negative review but I do think it needs some serious work done to it before it continues to be booked out to people. The general bookabach company were fantastic and when I let them know what was happening. By the next morning they had transferred us to a new place and it brightened our weekend right up.

We booked this accommodation because another we wanted fell through. It was close to everything we needed. I do feel it is a little run down, with a musky smell.l, but cleaned well and clean sheets on beds. The team were awesome we had some noise from the tenants upstairs and they were quick to let them know and that was great. I don’t think most of the noise can be helped. Maybe wooden floors could hear all the movements and could hear them talking so I am sure they could hear us at times to.

If you want to sleep, this is NOT the place to stay. It is the lower unit of a house with very thin walls and ceiling. You could hear every single movement and word of the people upstairs at all hours. Which included moving furniture, stomping, music, talking, ALL NIGHT from 12AM until 5AM. THEN there are dogs at all of the neighboring properties (one of which is directly outside the bedroom windows), who start barking outside in the early hours of the morning - one day starting at 4AM. The furniture includes old, chipped tables that look like they were found on the side of the road with a ‘Free’ sign. The ceiling has paint peeling off of it, the couch was dusty/musty. We were not comfortable here and spent time purposely staying out as late as possible to avoid going back. We weren’t expecting luxury but this was unacceptable. We have stayed in Airbnb apartments before and never had this type of bad experience. On the bright side, check in and out was very easy with the lock box.

Look, the hosts are really nice. Communication was good, we appreciated that. Check in was made easy for us as we had a late arrival. But there was a few things we wern’t happy about during our stay and nothing was really done about it. - First of all one of the bedrooms had no door on it, this wasnt explained in the description before booking so half of the guests had to stay in a room with no privacy. - There is a unit on top of your place & you hear every single movement of the tenants, we were woken up every night at all hours to loud noises & didnt have a quiet stay during the day either ( this should be put in the description before booking ) - Shower pressure was close to nothing For the price that we were charged, we felt it wasnt worth it.

Only thing to note is if there is someone renting out the top floor of the house during your stay, you can hear the footsteps and noise of them. Wasn’t a big bother for us, but worth noting. Team EJ were okay hosts. The venue itself was simple but clean and tidy enough. I checked out a day early as the venue is a downstairs apartment and there was a loud, uncontrollable party upstairs which made sleeping impossible. Essentially went on the whole night. In the morning ash from cigarette smoking upstairs was all over my car which was parked. I wasn’t prepared to risk staying another night with that performance and felt that creating conflict with young partygoers upstairs would’ve compromised a safe stay. An unfortunate experience.

There were a few amenities missing(when listing shows included)/inadequate: - Hangers(only 2 were available but we had 4 guests staying 5 nights) - Only 2 and a half toilet rolls were supplied and we had to buy our own on the 4th night - No laundry detergent - Hand soap was literally just water(extremely diluted) - Only 3 dining chairs when the listing photos shows 4 (again we had booked for 4 guests) We were aware that these issues could be solved by contacting the host but we had an extremely tight schedule through out our stay looking for long term accommodations and it’s nearly impossible for us to stay behind the house for the host to come and supply the amenities which should really have been there readied at the day we check in, they weren’t extra amenities. Things that needs improvements: - Dinning chairs were extremely dirty like it’s been stepped on, need some cleaning/replacement - Tap at the washroom sink had hot and cold water indicator installed the wrong way round, got scalded a few times - Very weak shower head just slightly stronger than dripping rain - Broken cloth airer(still usable but it’d be better to fix/replace) - No insect spray or any repellent were available in the house when there’s a known issues(according to the host) with ants pouring in at the shower cabinet when raining outside - Microwave was unusable placed at the top of the fridge with the electric cable being too short to reach the socket outlet, unless you move the microwave to the floor The only thing I could give credit to is the responsiveness of the host regardless of hours, and a great check in guide. The host might have some other fabulous listings on AirBnB but better avoid this one, does not worth NZD190/night.

Communication was courteous via messages...but not for me! Positive: I liked the location as it placed me where I needed to for work. Negative: True description of the property would be great , it's the bottom apartment with 2 above which means you hear every footstep going up and when they are home and having karaokeparties. I would of appreciated an iron and ironing board, being presentable is crucial to my role. Handing over of every detail of my identity after it was fully paid and having no option but to comply as payment was non refundable. Should of just given my 1st born😏 the rushed renovation and basic finishes done nothing for the property. I'm sure the owners intentions are good but abit more thought would work especially for seasoned professionals.

Sadly this has been one of worst AirBnB experiences we have ever had. The entire property was under renovation so it shouldn’t have been given out to guests as it was unfinished. There were paint fumes, construction debris and sand dust everywhere on the floors. My wife and children developed hay fever due to the fine dust. The outdoors had animal poop, overgrown grass, nails and construction rubbish everywhere and was totally unsafe for children. The shower barely had any water coming through. The communication was poor as the property was being managed by a management company and not actual hosts. The whole idea of AirBnb connecting guests with hosts has failed in this case. We will not be staying here in future and do not recommend it to anyone using Airbnb.

Excellent location and awesome service by Team EJ. Nice and clean property. Moreover, I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who want to stay near CDB. Communication with host was excellent and helpful.

Nice little cosy private place to stay thats similar, but different to a hotel. Positive: The privacy unlike a hotel or motel. Negative: It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't a 5 star hotel

I got charged $300 for the smallest baby food stains on bed sheet & blanket. I mean isn't it the house keeper jo Positive: Very cold & dingy Negative: I didn't like smell of the property & very out dated furniture
