The Good. The property was huge & spacious. Lots of large living spaces, big bedrooms, great pool. The view was amazing. The decor was quirky but we liked it. The house, though aged, would have been fine had it been cared for & cleaned, it was not. The problems were extensive, some dangerous or unhygienic. A patch of dried blood on the floor, also on a light switch. Broken glass on the kitchen floor & driveway. Urine on the floor of 2 toilets. One bed had dirty tissues under it. Some broken furniture. By the pool there were broken pool toys, a decomposing box of pool chemicals, an old towel & a dirty pair of underwear. The yard had empty bottles, cans & bottle tops. The rubbish & recycle bins were overfull at arrival. There were rotting leaves, old rubbish & waist-high weeds throughout the yard. The garage door was broken so the house was unlockable for the first 24hours. Communication was via 20(!) co-hosts, mostly vague, & no response to refund request until Airbnb stepped in.

When we arrived we noticed things were a little out dated and not quite what the pictures showed. The swimming pool was very dirty. The white carpet had many stains. The views were very beautiful.

Our family was dissatisfied with the internal and external presentation of the dwelling. Internally, it had thick cobwebs hanging in the dusty corners and a musty smell throughout. Perhaps a lack of air circulation. Externally, the garden was completely overgrown, which partially covered the paths around the dwelling. The swimming pool had dead insects and leaves that sank and floated in it. The pool pump was unserviceable, which means we couldn't use the pool, which was one of our requirements for choosing this property. Several light bulbs in the house were blown out, meaning a lack of illumination. The common toilet and bathroom had no locks, which offered no privacy for the user. We did inform the host about a lack of maintenance, and someone was sent to clear the overgrown gardens. We didn't hear back from the host about the swimming pool. Location, local amenities, and the overall appeal of the surrounding area are pleasing. A safe place to stay with family.

my family and I had a amazing 4days at the place, the only down fall was that the light pool did not work, and that was the reason why my partner and I booked it, was the night view looked amazing, but didn't work. but overall we enjoyed it.

Loved the pool, perfect temperature clean and super deep. House was beautiful! unfortunately the spa bath didnt work or the oven or fridge. ( Repair man came and fixed fridge but oven was unrepairable.) That was quite a pain. Location was awesome and its a nice big house however we were disappointed with the property. First impression was the overgrown yard and rubbish on the path which was similar to the backyard. Needs some attention as a few issues such as lights not working in one of the living rooms, main bathroom lock was broken, ensuite shower head was broken and could not be adjusted. No visitors allowed unless you get permission from them which we did and did not hear back.

Had a girls trip of 9. There are no words for how beautiful this home is and the views. It accommodated each and every one of our needs. Beautiful property in Mission Bay. Woke up to the sounds of shore birds and watched the tide roll in and out. We were travelling with extended family so the large space was ideal to have. The Rotary walkway was easily accessible for some exercise and a great way to see the area. Beds and pillows were comfortable! A huge plus! Well equipped bathrooms as well. this house is really great beautiful location build with lots of detais, however the house hasn't been well maintained electric lights most of thim isn't working, hot tub isn't working and to old to fix, a lots of Grass around the swimming pool , and it's not clean as much as it looks in photos .

The team have been very helpful. There were some small issues but the team came the next day and it got fixed very quick. I will say this is a vintage home with stylish furnitures and beautiful scene. Beds are comfy and clean, kitchen are equipped with pots, kitchenware and handy oven. The property have a quiet neighbourhood and it is next to Farm Cove beach, you can see people fishing or picnic around the area. Thanks to EJ we had a good time at Auckland.

When we accepted this booking, we clearly stated all of our house rules to Cade beforehand which he agreed to. However, these were not followed. First, they did arrive earlier at the property when early check-in was not approved. Second, when they left the property, it was left in a real mess. Trash is everywhere, there are stains on the couch, on linens, on throw pillows, and possible traces of smoking weed. We even received reports of additional cars coming in. Our cleaners had to do a deep cleaning and we are unhappy on how messy and dirty the house turned out to.

We were unfairly judged by the neighbours who complained that we played music for 2-3 hours during the day ONCE during our stay which was disappointing. Must have been from about 3pm -5 or 6pm while we were celebrating our daughters birthday. We believe the same neighbour was in their backyard trying to talk to our daughters and ask to use the pool while we were there which we said no and this seems to be the result. Very unfair to be given a violation over such a minor incident.

Overpriced Hazard!! Negative: Firstly entering the house to visible stains on various parts of the carpet throughout, to the broken shower heads that dripped water to shower under, to the dangerous slippery walk-in showers/bathrooms with no non-slip mats provided anywhere resulting in myself, my teenage sister and 11 year old autistic son slipping over & nearly splitting our heads open on the sharp-edged basin or glass corner of the shower wall, to only providing 1 tea towel to use over the 3 night stay for my family & I to use for wash up with NO spare tea towel option anywhere, providing only 4 towels to share between 9 members of my family over a period of 3 nights, to the dry orange powder-like substance all over the terrace outside the main living area, master room & on the footpath leading to the pool that spread everywhere we walked, stained our clothing & footwear, to the overgrown messy shrubs, hedges & weeds throughout the entire property, to multiple cupboards/drawer handles missing, loose or handles placed inside the main kitchen pantry amongst plates, bowls, cups etc, to visible cords, wirings, insulation & manrose aluduct's overhanging, hazardously lying around in plain sight in walk-ways, door ways, untied, filthy & unsafe, to no vacuum anywhere to hoover up common mess that occurs with children, to Check Out time being 10am but the owners &/or cleaner showing up & immediately walking in with no notice, no warning with equipment/items as my family & I finish packing up our vehicles with our belongings AT 9:30AM, to the audacity to place a cleaning fee within the total booking price BUT CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD A FURTHER $500 CLEANING FEE 4 DAYS LATER FROM MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT! PAYING A TOTAL OF $1950.80 FOR OUR 3 NIGHT STAY FOR MY FAMILY & I, ADDING AN ADDITIONAL $500 TO THE $1950.80 FOR THE CLEANING FEE WHICH WAS NOT OPTIONAL, PAYING A TOTAL OF $2,450.
