Penthouse Apt with Harbour Views and Carpark

The view from this Airbnb is stunning! The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and the unit has almost everything you need for a comfortable stay. It can get a little warm when the blinds are fully open, but keeping them lowered during the day and using the fan helps. The neighborhood is quite hilly if you’re walking, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. The unit is on the 15th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 14th, so you’ll need to climb two short flights of stairs—something to note if you have heavy luggage. The in-unit washer/dryer combo was convenient, though the dryer wasn’t the strongest, but a drying rack was also provided. Overall, the Airbnb was lovely—the bed was cozy (with a mattress warmer as a nice touch), parking was easy, and the stay was very enjoyable. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the hills, a bit of warmth, and the short stair climb.

Extremely clean and tidy space. Functional and well-stocked. Easy to get in and out. Responsive host. Very nice view from the top of the building! Gets warm in the mornings but easy to control the temperature in winter with ample openable windows and doors. Do note, the washer and dryer is a combo unit for laundry. As with most combo units, it doesn't dry very well by itself but it's easy to air dry clothes at this unit.

Perfect location especially if you are looking to explore Auckland’s CBD or visit Waiheke Island - both we did and had a wonderful time. There was an elevator up to 14th floor but we did have to walk our luggage up the last floor to the 15th - it was no problem for us but just a heads up!

Nice central location, and parking was a bonus. Note that the apartment does not have air conditioning, which was uncomfortable with the afternoon sun shining in. There is a unit in the living room for cooling however it is very loud and not effective. Otherwise, a great stay.

This is a super cute and cosy hideaway apartment with beautiful views over the inner harbour. We really enjoyed having a birds eye view of huge cruise ships being docked in the harbour. The bed was comfy (firm with a soft topper) and the apartment was well cleaned and had all the amenities you would expect. The host are great communicators and could not have been more helpful. Having an inner city carpark is a real bonus too. The apartment building is of good quality, safe and sound and is a great location for exploring Auckland. We would definitely return!

Great apartment with gorgeous panoramic views! An easy 10min walk to great shopping, restaurants and cafes and most importantly Spark Arena where we headed for a concert. The supermarket within 10min walking distance too was so handy! The apartment is very quiet at night, very secure, and the carpark is well designed which easily fit our Ute. It does get hot but the air conditioning and fan get it to a comfortable temperature! The hosts are great with communication too, we will definitely be back!

We made the best of it and enjoyed our three-night stay. Given the issues we experienced we feel this property is overpr Positive: Excellent location. Fabulous views of Auckland and harbour. Comfy bed, good bathroom. Comfy living room. Functional kitchen. Negative: Unnecessarily complex booking process with significant security deposit required at late notice. Apartment on 15th floor, lift only goes to 14th floor. Extremely hot apartment. Doors and windows are tricky to open and air conditioner is only a portable one in the living room, leaving the bedroom very hot all night.

The location and view were really amazing for exploring the Auckland downtown area ( I believe it was called CBD). Everything was as described from the reservation and very straightforward. Having a parking spot was also really important since we wanted to drive around and explore the area. The location was also about 1 or 2 blocks from the waterfront area which is where all of the action was. I would highly recommend this place for anyone trying to stay in the area.

Avoid!!! Half apartments in this building are actually Student Hall flats! 1 Lift(out of 2)working. Positive: Location is good. Negative: 1. This building has about 30 flats that belong to Auckland University used as Student Hall flats, for students. 2. Only 1 lift in the building is working (second lift will be fixed in May2025 as notice states) see photo 3. Extremely hot apartment (last floor L15)Lift goes to L14, after you need to walk up stairs (see photo) 4. Owner didn't care much and installed air cooling unit (see photos) which is very very loud! 5. Key locker is attached to City council electric cage (against the law) on the street. I will send an emal to Auckland City Council. 6. We did not stay at this tiny flat and instead booked Hotel, which was the best decision. 7. Entire booking process was painful as we were asked to send copy of ID, Credit Cards and I was not comfortable attaching these to some 3rd party OffShore cloud service app. When I called property and expressed my concern about this, I was told that cancelation will be 50% of the entire booking fee. I felt like being trapped as they did not state this!

Team EJ's spot was splendid - we had a last minute itinerary change which kept us away for the first night, but our check in was super flexible and our hosts made sure it was easy to make the change. The apartment itself is wonderful; you'll find yourself in a luxurious one-bedroom penthouse among the lofty high-rises of the Central Business District. There's a spectacular view of the main bay as well as Rangitoto and the other islands. Staying here was the perfect way to end a romantic getaway to New Zealand and experience the city of Auckland for a few days!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming Airbnb in the heart of the CBD! The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short walk to the Queen Wharf ferries, which made our trip to Waiheke Island and its wineries effortless. We booked in for the apartment and ten minutes later had friends offer for us to stay with us, we tried to immediately cancel 10 minutes after booking and were told no, the cancellation policy remains, so make sure you really want to stay here before you book. The check in process is a separate online guide and check in, and was a bit hard and arduous to do while traveling and trying to find internet if you're not from NZ, The place itself is ok. Location is great if you want to do things down in the CBD. The apartment gets incredibly hot at night and during the day. There is no air con or heating, so the heat will rise in the summer. We had to open all the windows to cool down which then made it incredibly loud from the noise and traffic outside. It's a nice enough place to stay. It was nice to have a parking spot, the bed was very comfortable (once we cooled down) and the communication was good from the company, they checked in on us a few times which was nice.

Apartment was immaculately clean. Location was great with a small park across the road and a large park 500m away. Pullman Hotel restaurant was 300m away, good restaurant. Only drawback was having to carry suitcases up one flight of stairs, the lift only goes to 14th floor and the apartment is on the 15th. Lastly, a nice view from the apartment.

We are so pleased to have found this lovely place to stay for our weekend away. The apartment was exactly as expected with well presented and homely decor and really awesome views. The place had all we needed, and it was great to be within walking distance from the city. The hosts were great and responsive and sent a detailed guide on how to self check in and park etc. We would definately stay here again. The only thing we would comment on is that the apartment could do with an Airconditioning unit as its not summertime yet but it was quite warm. This may be due to the lovely sunshine that radiates into the lounge and bedroom.

Great view and cozy apartment. Everything is well equipped. Just like being at home. All the things were new and tidy. Only a few stair need to have to reach the bnb. But it’s not a problem even we have 4 luggage. Highly recommend!

This apartment is in a great location with easy access to Britomart and downtown Auckland as well as Spark Arena. The place was spotless and easy to access. We found it very quiet and peaceful and of course, the views of the harbour are brilliant. Thanks for a great stay.

Team EJ was AMAZING to deal with!! The place was immaculate, spacious and felt like home. (Me and my partner spent the whole time saying we could live there) amazing views and everything you need - EVEN A WOK!!! The only downfall which can’t be helped by Team EJ, is if you aren’t used to a lot of city noises etc this can be disruptive(coming from a small town couple) However we will 100% be staying at your beautiful penthouse apartment again and can’t wait to return! We were very comfortable at Team EJ's small apartment. We cooked several meals and felt right at home. We did have a problem with the heating as were there in August. The only heating was a very small space heater, and it took a bit of back and forth with the team to understand that it was a heater and not just a fan. The location is excellent, with easy access to the central business district, the bay, and other interesting neighborhoods. After we departed Auckland we thought we left some cables and a charger at the apartment. We contacted Team EJ and they were very responsive, even reaching out several days later to say they still hadn't found the missing items. Chenie's care and response was very reassuring and appreciated.

What a little gem. So conveniently located with views across to Rangitoto while being almost in the heart of the city. Parking was easy as was access to the building and the penthouse. Loved the apartment, furnishings are simple but very high quality and the decor is welcoming without being fussy or pretentious. The little touches (real plunger coffee as well as coffee pods through to luxurious bath sheets, not towels but sheets) made me feel so pampered I didn’t want to leave. And the best part… that glorious morning sunrise across Auckland harbour. The hosts are proactive and, despite not being onsite, truly made me feel welcome in the space. I’ll definitely be back!

Great spot for a weekend trip, easy walk to the grocery store and close by heaps of eateries (though it is on a bit of an incline so it can be a steep-ish walk back to the building). check in was super easy, the house was clean and looked like the pictures. Had only a little hiccup with the car parking being in a different spot than mentioned, but the hosts were super lovely and quick to respond, and this didn't affect the rest of our stay there. would definitely return for another stay!

Location is really great. Easy walk into Britomart and the CBD. Flat is ok and looks like the pictures but it is a bit pokey. There is also no lift to that floor which is a bit of a pain. Worst issue by far was that it smelled very strongly of cigarettes when we arrived and despite airing the flat we were unable to get rid of that odour. In addition, the air con unit was broken when we came in with a panel hanging off the window. I notified the hosts who sent someone that night but they didn't fix it or come back during our stay of 3 nights to sort it out. So that wasn't fantastic.

EJ’s place in CBD Auckland was perfect. Near the water front and tons of restaurants and centrally located. It was also very quiet and not much traffic in the area as well. Very responsive and helpful. The pad was amazingly clean and orderly and spacious.

Exceptional Airbnb. Perfect location downtown but just enough off queens st, near countdown supermarket, and walkable to domain/museum and waterfront. Everyting in apartmnt is to make Airbnb better, very well thought out and equipt (even a converter plug to use other country electronics for example). Free parking is main reason we chose this one and it's very simple and good easy secure parking spot. Stunning view of port, harbour, corner of harbour bridge and even Sky Tower! Price seemed very good for downtown Auckland but we were mid-week, winter and non school holidays so maybe got a good deal. One suggestion for future guests, if you don't know exact check-in time just say 3pm otherwise if you say later they don't want you to check in early as they may have booked cleaners later (it's a bit weird, just say 3pm and 10am checkout, its all lockboxes anyway).

The properties location is great. If you’re looking for help from these hosts, don’t expect a lot. The listing states it has a coffee machine, it didn’t even have a plunger for the basic motel plunger coffee provided. I was asked to purchase a plunger after waiting for a response in regards to the missing coffee machine and plunger for 4 hours. When I declined as the budget was for $20 or less, which meant I would have to drive 20-30 minutes away to purchase this, they then provided the plunger to the room. The bed in this room is firm. Not plush! The pillows are thin. The joinery needs to be replaced as you can hear the wind through the cracks. I would say the location & view is great. The rest needs a bit more attention.

When we realized you needed a coffee plunger urgently and had no team member available, we suggested that you purchase one nearby and we would reimburse you. We apologize if this solution was not ideal for you. We also didn't receive any complaint about the bed's firmness, but had you informed us, we would have gladly provided a mattress topper for added comfort. We offer a range of pillows to accommodate different preferences, and if you had requested a thicker pillow, we would have gladly provided one. Regarding the ranch slider which you said has allowed some wind to get in, it is a common feature in New Zealand, and we apologize for not considering that you may not have been familiar with its operation. We appreciate your stay with us and hope for the opportunity to host you again in the future, ensuring a more enjoyable experience.

Convenient location in the CBD with great views and a dedicated parking spot. Clean and well-maintained apartment with contemporary furnishings. Adequate amenities in bathroom and kitchen! Easy and quick communication with the host.

Beautiful property with stunning views! Really clean and tidy and looked just like the photos. Property is very central which made it easy for us to walk everywhere. They also had free basement parking which is always a plus. Team EJ were quick to respond to any questions/queries which was super helpful. Highly recommend!!

After a very long flight we located the lockbox but it was nearly on the ground and surrounded by garbage and dog poop. We had to get on our knees in this mess to access the lockbox and then it would not open. We finally gave up and went for dinner and the owners texted to hit it with a coin or rock which did open it. Then when we tried to open the garage door the fob didn’t work. After waiting about 20 minutes a resident let us in with his fob but said we would need the fob to get out the next morning. After telling the owner about it he asked us to go out and buy the battery. We said we would like him to do it by 9 am so we could use the car. No response so we had to go out and find the battery. Overall this was a lovely, well equipped apartment with a fantastic view but they need to replace or clean the lockbox and check the fobs for a smooth check-in experience!

Top location, clean & tidy, had secured parking spot, awesome views +++ Positive: Top location, clean & tidy, instructions to get inside were nice and clear, had secured parking spot, awesome views +++ Negative: I do understand the want to only rent to responsible individuals, but I found the identification and verification process was just a pain… (Too involved)
