Very nice location, definitely recommend and the host was very responsive and friendly. Everything was as described and clean. Also very close to restaurants, pubs, activities, and cheap bolt app to get to the city.

We are grateful for a lovely place to stay that was clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. Positive: This place was convenient for us to visit family nearby, it was very clean and comfortably cool (it was a warm time in Auckland), beautifully set up for a small family to be comfortable in. It had all the basic amenities. We were thankful for this place. We liked the artwork and the design/set up with good quality furnishings. Negative: The microwave oven was in an awkward place and not plugged in. The oven would not go on and we prepared food to bake. The drawers with utensils were mixed up. The pantry was sparse of cooking implements and untidy. The garage was messy. The back deck needs updating, repairs, painting... and to be made more inviting, comfortable. More plants in the back yard that flower would be nice...

We had a lovely two-night stay and found everything to be just as expected. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming feel throughout. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with all the essentials – a real bonus for anyone who enjoys cooking or simply wants the option. While everything about the home was excellent, just a personal note for those planning a longer stay: most of my family found the mattresses a bit too firm and the pillows too soft. This combination wasn’t the most comfortable for us personally, but that’s more a matter of preference than a fault. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d happily recommend it to others looking for a stylish and well-maintained place to stay.

The house was in a great location and was spacious for our family visit to Auckland. Unfortunately, we found the house to be very unclean. We found blood stains on the sheets of a bed, dirty kitchenware, unclean surfaces throughout the house and chewing gum on the carpet. We were surprised by this looking at the previous reviews, so perhaps the cleaners had an off day.

Great hosts and property very central in auckland to zoo, pt chev beach and restaurants especially Greek House. Close to City and airport motorway links. We extended our stay for one extra night so was there for 4 nights. Excellent place. Thanks

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this cozy little gem! The house might be a bit on the older side, but it’s got more charm than a vintage postcard. Perfect for a family getaway, especially with little ones in tow! Our kids loved the house, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the kitchen was — we cooked up some serious meals, and the kitchen had everything. The location is fantastic, everything we needed was just a short walk away. The grocery store? Only a 16-minute stroll! The playground? Just 18 minutes! Not bad, right? And let’s not forget the patio, which made for the perfect spot to relax after a busy day of chasing kids. Overall, it’s a great place for a family, and we highly recommend it! Will definitely be back... preferably with snacks in hand!

This place felt like home, for a family returning back to NZ for a holiday, it felt like we never left. Space was amazing. House was bigger than what we expected. The backyard was just the right space for our kids to run around. Definitely recommend for family's or group of couples! Close to the city! Our family stayed two nights in this beautiful home for my sons 2nd birthday (this home is close to the Zoo and Motat) Amenities were as described, home was lovely, well taken care of. Made use of the BBQ for our dinner. I know this is silly but we still can't get over the wide hallway!? ours first home was a tiny raliway cottage, this home made it look like a hobble hole haha! for two nights at a hotel it would cost us well over $1200.00nzd, comparitively for under $1000.00 we had this whole home, off street parking, multiple rooms and 2 living rooms plus a full kitchen, decent backyard, entertaining deck and BBQ. Honestly an absolute deal in Auckland. roadworks in the area were a minor inconvenience for us. they're everywhere in NZ so we weren't bothered at all 😁. Will definitely stay again!

The house was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the deck, garden, and bbq. Location was excellent - grocery store just round the corner, cafés for breakfast (recommend the French bakery for takeaway croissants and sandwiches!) We walked to the beach (via Edith Road) and round Coyle park to the lookout with amazing views of the city. The ongoing roadworks are now clear of the house, just up the road a little. Parking in the drive was easy even for our large hire care. The host was very responsive and helpful. This house would be especially good for groups for longer stays - lots of space to spread out, and easy access to shops, zoo, MOTAT, beach etc. without driving.

This was a great place to stay for our team of four who were at a conference just up the road. The house was spacious, comfy and really well equipped. We also really appreciated the flexible check-in and cleanliness. We did have some issues with the shower in the main bathroom not running properly, but managed to all use the great shower in the ensuite.

This would have been a good family home stay if there wasn't major roadworks right outside the house which closed the road. Access to the house is extremely limited, with machinery having to be moved before you can be escorted onto the property. Communications with the host were prompt but uncaring and inconsiderate, especially as their advertising was misleading as to the extent of the roadworks. I could not recommend this property even when the road works have finished given the deception and uncaring nature of the host.
