House Rules

Longer Stays: Stays longer than 14 days require a guest paid refresh clean & linen change on the 14th day and every subsequent 14 days. Check-In and Check-Out: - Guests to provide expected check-in time - will we do our best to cater to early check-in requests. Guests to provide expected check-out time(latests being 10am) and acknowledge the property will be scheduled for cleaning just after the time they have provided(late check-outs will incur a cleaner turn away charge or a full day rental). Guest must view check-in guide prior to arrival to familiarise themselves with the check-in process. Keys must not be collected prior to agreed check-in time and lockboxes(if any) must be left closed and locked. Bags or cars must not be stored at the property prior to check-in or after checkout without approval. Carpark(if applicable) can only be used from check-in time and must be removed at check-out time. During Your Stay: Please be considerate of the other residents living in the building by being courteous and keeping the noise down after 10 pm. Please report any breakages or damage sustained to the apartment during your stay as it allows us to repair/replace it in time for the next guests. Guest to comply with all rules in messages, check-in guides, house manuals or as posted in any building. Lockouts: These will incur call-out/building management/security or locksmith charges. Lost Property: We will do our best to find and return any reported lost item. All cost involved with retuning lost items including time taken is chargeable.

Our stay at the EJ’s place was really good. Hosts were very responsive when he had to clarify doubts and also when we reached out regarding queries specific parking. Our family of three had a fantastic stay in this brand new, spotless, and modern 2-bedroom apartment in Kelston. Really hard to review. The home was filthy on arrival, I based my purchase of the home as it had good reviews on cleanliness, however, the comms were excellent and once I showed them the photos and how unsatisfied I was in the home, they sent a cleaning team around to clean. Rented this place for my aunty and uncle and they really appreciated the cleanliness and clutter-free space. Comfy and spacious area. One thing I'd point out is that the beds are not going to be for everyone. The mattresses are on the firm side if you like a more pillows and soft bed. Other than that, they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thanks team :)

I loved it here. Although the shower itself wasn’t as nice as its a bit rusty it was still a lovely stay. The washing machine/dryer was only good for washing but not the drying. Tried to dry my 4 towels but it was still damp. Had to dry them one at a time. I did not notify the airbnb team but this should be checked. I would still recommend this property to all as my kids and I loved it because it was close to my family.

We feel compelled to caution others from booking this Airbnb. We recently booked for a 5 nights stay at this Airbnb and our experience was far from pleasant. At first glance, the place appeared decent and clean, but we soon discovered a serious flea infestation. Our whole family ended up with bites all over from the shoulders down. It was incredibly uncomfortable and make our stay unbearable. While the host did replace the bed linen on request and offered to flea bomb the place, we had a young child with us and felt that was not a safe option, so we declined. We requested a partial refund due to the circumstances, but that was rejected, which was disheartening. Had this happened in a hotel, we would have likely been offered a new room. Ultimately, we chose to leave early and find alternate accommodations. We would not be recommending this place to anyone until the flea issue is fully resolved.

Terrific accommodation. For three people it was heaper than most available hostels! Very clean and stocked with amenities like many spare blankets, hair dryer, and cleaning supplies (brooms, vacuum cleaner) Pleasant hustle and bustle from the neighbouring school. Delightful area to stay in; I hate having to assuage (for myself as much as others) thoughtlessly prejudiced fears, but yes, the neighbourhood felt very safe and welcoming.

It was very nice experience of staying at this place. Location is awasome for someone like us who were dependent on Public Transport. Indian store just next to home . Kelston Boys Highschool is across the road. Home was clear and well equipped with all necessary things. Brains park is walkable and couple of more in vicinity. We stayed with our family of 4 for a few days in this house. Check-in time is only by 4 pm, house was fine. Our main issue was the neighbourhood, perhaps Kelston is a regular Auckland neighbourhood but for us newbies it felt unsafe. The locals are driving around with their sound system on full volume, and the neighbours also play their music regularly. Therefore very noisy, but if you're used to city life it might not matter. Hosts do their best sending regular messages.

For what I was there for....this place was perfect. For the first 2 days I was by myself (until the rest of my family came). Having a keypad entry on a strong and solid door made me feel safe and secure. Being right next door to the shop/takeaway/Bakery was a bonus. A really great place in Kelston. Very quiet neighborhood, private lovely frontyard for some sun bathing, conveniently located beside a bakery and our favorite is the dedicated parking. Solid communication 💯 I just wished they had still grant my request with minor change in dates (removing just one day) as this request was made more than a week. Nevertheless, lovely home!

Place was absolutely clean and within close proximity to all facilities. The accommodation was well equipped with every appliance and had additional supplies of toiletries and even medication. Will highly recommend this accommodation! Team EJ had given us exceptional service.

Very beautiful and spacious apartment in a quiet area. Enjoyed our 7 days stay here. Would love to come back. Though had a communication issue with early check in requests as well as regarding the oven not working. Other than that I had no other issues. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to stay here. Thank you

Great place to stay. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. The Team were always responsive and welcoming. Having a Bakery and Dairy just 1 min walk away was a huge bonus for those impromptu hunger trips. All-in-all would highly recommend to stay if you value having a private place to stay.
