Stunning Metro Apartment with Free Parking, Gym and Air-con

nice location, pretty apartment, designated parking, difficult access, intrusive extra steps Positive: Area was central. It was clean. There was designated car parking. Apartment was nice. Coffee and tea was available. The smart TV was excellent. Negative: Getting to the lockbox was difficult. It was raining and there was no parking near the lockbox which was locked to a tree nowhere near the front door of the building. Parking was in an again different place than the apartment. I had to go to three different places (in the rain) to check-in. The biggest concern was that there were additional steps outside of booking.com that were intrusive. They required a copy of my drivers license, a full bust picture of me, another $300 bond. This was after I completed all the required steps from booking.com. They told me this was explicitly in place to protect them while using booking.com. I have no idea if my driver's license, photogenic likeness, or credit card number has been destroyed as there was no privacy statement. I had no protections against arbitrary expenses as I had no idea as to what they considered damage. I felt very exposed.

Great little apartment in central location. Check in instructions were clear. Had everything we needed. Naturally warm with heater available if needed. Right outside plenty of food options. We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described. It was very clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to the city center and all the main attractions. The host and their team were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an awesome stay here. This place is right in the middle of CBD, walkable to a lot of things but still quiet. Had all the amenities and we didn’t have any trouble except for may be finding the parking the first time. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

This is the perfect place to stay if you plan on walking a lot in Auckland. We parked our car and never used it our whole stay. Overall the place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the amenities functioned, and the shower was very nice. The location is the biggest selling point though - very close to the Civic, Queenstreet, and so many shops and restaurants and you can walk around the city in general and get a good feel for it. The one thing I will say is that checking in was a bit of a task - you first have to go to a separate address and find the lockbox on a tree, get the key, then drive to the car park, which as others have said, was a tight fit. We had a Toyota Yaris and I don't think anything larger than that would fit through the door. You then had to navigate to a tough-to-find elevator before making your way up to the apartment. The host does leave very detailed instructions with pictures on how to do this, but it was still difficult and stressful in a city we didn't know.

I would really recommend staying in this apartment. It's really clean and has great amenities. The bed is super comfortable. The best thing is the location. So close to everything in the CBD. Close to bus stops as well. Instructions to get in to the property were really helpful and easy to follow. We arrived at night and it was still really easy to find the keysafe and to get in. The host was very responsive and quick replies to messages.

Pros: Clean. Quiet. Kitchen well stocked. Large bathroom with shelves to put toiletries. W/D in bathroom, so can run when sleeping. Good location. Walkable to many sights. Easy & quick to use Uber when needed. Owner quick to reposed to questions. Cons: Mattress too soft. Getting into apartment is a bit of a scavenger hunt. Lockbox is a block away from apartment. There is no place to park by the lockbox, so one person has to drive around while the other obtains the key. It was hard to locate the correct parking gate. It is around the back. You have to drive on a street that says, “authorized vehicles only.” It was a bit confusing. The door to the elevator inside the parking garage is not labeled. Once in the apartment, all is good.

The place was great. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 star rating is because of the parking situation. There was a road block on the main route to the parking garage, and the alternate route was extremely confusing. We drove around for an hour trying to figure it out, when a simple heads up would have been all that was needed.

Great location at a reasonable price in Auckland CBD. Walkable to the Viaduct harbour and restaurents. Car park inclusion was a big benefit. The kitchen and laundry appliances were al quality, BOSCH. Will strongly recommend.

Centrally located, well appointed and tidy apartment. Great amenities and good wifi and entertainment. If you take the time to read the clear instructions the check in is simple. For the price this is a great deal and worthy of a long or short stay in the city. Walk out your front door and you are basically opposite the Aotea Centre.

Great place, great location. Lots of food options close-by. Nice kitchen, nice bathroom, comfy couch. The bed was very soft, which many people find comfortable, though my partner and I actually prefer a harder mattress that transfers no movement when the other person turns around (we're fussy).

Hard to beat the location - close proximity to downtown, a wide variety of food, public transit, and Aotea Square (which could be super loud at times, but the internal bedroom was shielded from the noise).

Four stars out of 5 due to the complicated way you enter the apartment as well as the the fact our key would not open the gym. Asked for help to get into gym twice but received no reply back. Otherwise the kitchen was superb and having a car park was a huge bonus. Had to clean out shower sump on day 4 due to the bad smell emanating from it. Really needed a clean.

Lovely home, great location and great communication from Team EJ. Was a bit overpriced with not so amenities and low water pressure. Parking is a great bonus in the city but super tricky gate to get in and out of. The lounge is impeccable though and makes you feel so at home. I love staying here because I can get the power feel of the city life with the calm serene of a home cooked meal. Love the little homeliness feel of the place! The kitchen and lounge is my favourite as well as the beautiful wardrobe. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to have a staycation or work/life balance in the city 😇

Such a great spot in central Auckland. Felt safe having our car and surfboards with us as a covered carpark is provided. Super tidy, and plenty of information given as to the location of the place. Still tricky to navigate in a city but the instructions are super helpful! Only thing is my partner was looking forward to a coffee as there were pods advertised but there weren't any during our stay. However, there was instant coffee. Such a great spot for exploring the city on foot. Definitely recommend.

Positive: It was clean, tidy, easy to manage and the appliances Was everything u need. Other than the actual oven not working. It was a great apartment with great location. Negative: Your oven is from the 70s and so is your dishwasher. Your bed sheets are made of plastic as well. U need a fitted sheet at the very least

The place was amazing. The Soundbar made such a booming experience for watching a movie or two with the included Netflix they provide. Communication was amazing along the entire way! Would definitely come back :)

If you are a traveller staying in the place only for a few days to visit the city of Auckland, it is an excellent place, as described in most of the reviews, it is modern and well-equipped , in a perfection location to the nearby attractions. However, if you have to stay long like us, for more than 4 weeks during the Covid -19 lockdown, it may not be what you expect. First, the bedroom has no windows and the ventilation of air is poor. The air- conditioning doesn’t help much as it is in the far corner of the dining area. Second, neighbours around smoked on the balconies, day and night, and the smoke spread inside the flat. That is a nuisance to us as non smokers. Another thing is the noise of traffic on the street. In the lockdown situation, traffic was already reduced to only buses, a few private cars and the police. But it was still very noisy because the bus stop is just underneath , the starting and stopping of the vehicle engines was very disturbing. Overall, it is a very nice apartment, well- maintained with good amenities, especially the smart TV and the Netflix, which made our life easier during the lockdown.

L’appartement d’Eric et Jason est parfaitement situé dans le centre-ville et bien sécurisé. Il est joliment et confortablement meublé. La communication a été très facile et rapide. Nous avions eu un problème d’internet, celui-ci a été réglé dans un très bref délai. Great apartment in a great location! Pictures are accurate with nice living space, good size bedroom and large bathroom (with separate toilet). Good communication. The WiFi was not working, but contacted them and got a very quick reply with an alternative network available in the apartment! Would recommend to all and would love to stay again

This is a great apartment in a very hand central city location, with convenient parking within the building. The apartment is small but very comfortable for a couple, with excellent appliances and furniture. The location is very handy, being only a few minutes’ walk from Queen Street. Despite that, it is also quite quiet overnight so a good night’s sleep is easy, especially on the apartment’s excellent bed. The kitchen is very well fitted out and it is easy to prepare a good meal. We will be delighted to return if we have the opportunity.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped to a high standard and the addition of a washer and a dryer in the apartment was really useful whilst travelling. The check in location was a little walk away from the building, but clear instructions with helpful photos were provided. The allocated parking space was also really great for this central area of Auckland.

A perfect apartment for a stay in Auckland! So comfortable and well located! An easy walking distance to amazing restaurants, shopping, wharfs and the Sky tower. The apartment was stylish, very clean and comfortable. Every possible amenity with thoughtful touches and modern, high quality fixtures. The bed was super comfy with very good quality linens. I booked some places at Auckland, and the ones that Eric and Jason run are the most tidy, and comfortable ones. Literally everything you need is there, and the place smells fresh and clean, unlike some other properties that I booked from other hosts, they smell, and I had to go and shop for some bed linens and air fresheners. Again, Eric and Jason’s properties are the best and if I stay more at Auckland I will definitely book one of them. Not to mention that they are so quick when responding and very supportive, I had to checkin early and they allowed me. I really appreciate your 5 stars service.

Beautiful apartment. Host make sure your stay is the best it can be. Little hiccup at check out but instructions were prompt and followed up with a phone call from the manager. We will definitely stay again

Very nice apartment in a awesome location. Eric and Jason’s self check in instructions were easily the best I have had along with the tips and places to eat in Auckland I had a great stay over the Easter period. Eric and Jason's apartment was perfectly located for accessing great local dining and the Auckland University Grafton Campus where I am a postgraduate student. I had a fantastic stay and recommend their apartment to anyone needing a warm space that is central to Auckland city.

While the photos and the listing were accurate, we wouldn’t stay here again. There was quite a smell of trash in the apartment hallway and the bed/sofa had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. I do think the hosts make every effort to keep the apartment very clear, but unfortunately this smell made it difficult to enjoy our stay. If you’re sensitive to smoke I wouldn’t recommend as the guestbook says smoking is allowed on the apartment balcony and it seems to linger in apartment. The location was very loud on the weekend making it challenging to sleep. There was no window in the bedroom so you only have natural light in the living room. Parking was nice, we liked having a washer/dryer and overall the apartment is decorated well.

Hi Corey, firstly, thank you so much for your feedback. We have strict no-smoking rules at all our properties, but city living can bring in the odd smell from outside. We've never had any comments or issues with noise before so this is perplexing - quite possibly there was a one-off event in town that night.

Negative: The jug didn’t work so had to boil water on the stove. The room smelt like Mcdonalds Pickles, not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the dishes had food still stuck to them.

Pros and Cons Positive: Central location good. Apartment itself good. Availability of secure parking. Negative: Booking process onerous, having to supply photo of self with ID. Photograph of credit card, even though had paid. Process did not feel comfortable. If we hadn't already paid would have backed out.
