House Rules

Longer Stays: Stays longer than 14 days require a guest paid refresh clean & linen change on the 14th day and every subsequent 14 days. Check-In and Check-Out: - Guests to provide expected check-in time - will we do our best to cater to early check-in requests. Guests to provide expected check-out time(latests being 10am) and acknowledge the property will be scheduled for cleaning just after the time they have provided(late check-outs will incur a cleaner turn away charge or a full day rental). Guest must view check-in guide prior to arrival to familiarise themselves with the check-in process. Keys must not be collected prior to agreed check-in time and lockboxes(if any) must be left closed and locked. Bags or cars must not be stored at the property prior to check-in or after checkout without approval. During Your Stay: Please be considerate of the other residents living in the building by being courteous and keeping the noise down after 10 pm. Please report any breakages or damage sustained to the apartment during your stay as it allows us to repair/replace it in time for the next guests. Guest to comply with all rules in messages, check-in guides, house manuals or as posted in any building. Lockouts: These will incur call-out/building management/security or locksmith charges. Lost Property: We will do our best to find and return any reported lost item. All cost involved with retuning lost items including time taken is chargeable.

We paid over $200 in cleaning fees, but asked to remove rubbish and wash dishes. I would have been happy to do those tasks if the cleaning fee weren't so high, the property wasn't in the best state when we arrived. Accessibility is a serious concern. I urge anyone considering this property to think very carefully. My elderly mother, who relies on a walking frame and can only move short distances, struggled with the incredibly steep access. The driveway is not safe for some cars, we only avoided walking it because our truck was able to get up it. From there, you face a long and steep walkway with several flights of stairs. During rain, the footpath and stairs were extremely slippery and worrisome for her. Even as someone who trains nine times a week, I felt unsafe using them in the downpour. At night, the minimal lighting makes it even more dangerous. When I raised these concerns with the host immediately after booking, I was told the booking was non-refundable.

It was smaller than what the photos showed. Shower was too small and washing machine was too small . Door of washing machine couldn’t open wider , unfortunately had to take laundry to laundromat. Very dusty and dirty seats.

It was a great and a worth place for us to stay. That same night we checked in, was the same night we checked out from the other accomodation due to the e expected situation that we walked in with. We only stayed there for an hour because I was trying to find another place. I find Side Getaway, book our days and my urgent request if we could checked in at around 8pm. Not long since the payment being made, I got the confirmation of my booking, and the instructions to get to the house and retrive the key. I was beyond grateful for the prompt respond which really helps ease our worries and frustration from a previous accomodation. We got into the house, and it amazed us on its standard, very cleaned and neat as is something that actually meet our expectations. Ej, keeps checking on us and ask if we need anything. He didn’t left us hanging. I was so thankful for these good people that really looks after their guests and I highly recommend this place to other people. Massive thank you.

Ein sehr schöne Unterkunft zwischen dem CBD von Auckland und der Westküste. Wir waren mit der Familie dort und hatten genug Platz für alle. Es gibt ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem King-Size-Bett, ein weiteres etwas kleineres Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem Einzelbett. In der Küche gibt es einen großen Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle und einen kleinen Heißluftofen. Die Auffahrt ist sehr steil, größere Autos sollten lieber auf der Straße parken, da war immer Platz, als wir da waren. Die Kommunikation mit dem Team ist sehr einfach, schnell und freundlich. Terrible experience! Walkway to the house waa covered by long grass and no lights at night. Bathroom window didn’t close and we has bugs crawl in, spider webs and spiders in corners, mould in shower, mouldy pillows, remote control for tv was missing, bean bags were ripped, couch was dirty and stained, bins outside were full so we has nowhere to put rubish… I think the reviews given are fake. Place was much smaller than shown on photo. Host was unresponsive for hours at a time, all week I tried to communicate with minimal response and no solution. Ended up getting partial refund through the Airbnb team.

Other reviews complained about the landscaping, which i dismissed as too picky...who cares about the landscaping? Well, to be hinest, there is a very steep incline to walk up to the door, and the overgrown weeds make it a bit if a challenge. Especially at night. Same thing coming down in the morning...very steep, and we were all nervouse about tripping on the weeds stretching acriss the pathway. The place was awesome, price was great, but ya...nervous every morning coming down that walkway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at EJ's Airbnb in Auckland, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Not great value for money. Positive: The beds were extremely comfortable. The hosts were prompt with messaging to make sure our stay was accomodating. Negative: Access to the house was extremely run down and not friendly to bring luggage up the steep run down pathway. The bathroom and shower was extremely run down. You have to physically move around to get wet from the shower. The flooring needs serious repairs. The deck is extremely dangerous and should not be accessible to the public. There were concerns the deck would give way.

The place was generally good. Inside the apartment it was clean and quiet . But out side needs maintenance very much. Rubbish was everywhere at the vehicle park area. And walking path to the entrance was not clean.

Perfectly functional, quiet, 3-bedroom apartment with new linens and clean, well-stocked kitchen. The walkway is pretty steep, but the pictures directed us to the correct unit at the top of the building. 5-minute drive to shopping. 25 minute drive into Auckland center, but good value.

La pasamos muy bien. Pero el baño es chico para tan lindo departamento y la subida hasta la propiedad estaba llena de hojas y muy empinada. Resto re bien.
