While the home is nice it fell short of expectations, not matching its online photos. No welcome booklet was provided. The dining table was tatty, and the couch was old, with exposed springs, making it uncomfortable. The black recliner, nice throws, and cushions were missing. Frying pans were unusable due to badly scratched Teflon. BBQ was too dirty to use. Beds are uncomfortable. A single bed had a mattress too wide for the stretcher, so we had to move the mattress on the floor. Neither bathroom fan worked, and the upstairs en-suite shower had a blockage. Sheer curtains are needed in the dining area for privacy from the very close neighbor. The main bedroom lacked a mirror, its chair from photos h been replaced by an old, torn, stained one, and wall prints were absent. Property needs attention. And also small touches like tissues, paper towel, welcome booklet, coffee machine, speaker etc would be nice. Hosts were responsive to issues but owners need to amend above items.

Convenient and central location for setting yourself up on the North Shore, easy access to Takapuna & Devonport shopping/dining precincts. Also handy to highway for heading in any direction. Large house, plenty of indoor space for a family or friend group. The set up of houses in the right of way, means little privacy or gardens. This does seem to be quite common in Auckland however.

This home worked well for our group 2 families in Auckland for an event. It was clean and tidy, very spacious living area with a full kitchen. We cooked several meals in the kitchen which was well appointed. It was lovely for all of us to be able to eat at the table with the doors open onto the deck. Several beds were uncomfortable, The furniture also was not comfortable as in feel the springs. Most of the furniture could be replaced but it was OK for a few days. The parking was excellent 2 cars in garage and two along side so it allowed our people coming from all over NZ to park their car. The area is intensively housed so not very private but it seemed peaceful enough. On arrival it took overnight to get a response about the internet. But it was sorted in the morning - thank you Team EJ

About a 20-25 min walk to Takapuna beach, nice shops and restaurants/cafes in Takapuna. Really nice town. Grocery store is walkable. Clean, bright, open spaces. Stairs to the 2 first floor bdrms and more stairs to the next 3 bdrms. 1 bathrm on the first floor, the other 2 on the second floor. Great space for our big grp of 8.

Very nice large home for a big group. House was in a good location near supermarket and service stations and close enough to the city. The only downfall was no privacy as the house was right amongst and side by side other units and there were not curtains or blinds in the whole of the bottom half of the house. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in this lovely home :)

We were very disappointed with the communication with Team EJ. We were frustrated that we were advised after booking that we were not able to have family over. We felt the limit o the number of people allowed at the property to be unreasonable as we clearly explained it was a family dinner not a party. We also felt the notes about not wanting neighbours to be disturbed to be false as this was listed on every property listed by Team EJ. These rules restricted our plans and made our stay at this property uncomfortable but as we had no right to a refund we had no other choice. We asked and agreed to late checkout of 11am but cleaners turned up 10am. Overall very poor customer service and would actively avoid this property manager in the future . Regarding the actual property there was no tv channels, only Netflix. oven didn’t turn on and no booklet telling us how to work anything. Furniture rickerty, unstable and uncomfortable. These wouldn’t have been so bad if service was better

Hi Libby, thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us. We are sorry if you feel this way, our home is located in a residential area and we want nothing but peace with our neighbors. We have listed the maximum amount of guests that this property could cater to. We would have allowed the extra 3 guests but extra 7 guests would be excessive. We wish you could have informed us about the bbq dinner before booking, not after. We allowed an early check-in of 2pm free of charge, however, as per the late check-out request, we weren't able to accommodate this as we have a guest arriving on your check-out date. We can understand your frustration, however, we suggest that you disclose all this information to your host prior to booking, not after you have already booked the house. We are hoping for your kind understanding. We hope to host you in the future for a better stay.

We absolutely loved staying here, was in a great location, lovely clean house that smelt so nice on arrival. Perfect set up for 10 of us with 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. Loved it and will so be returning when visiting Auckland. Great safe location & loved how there was garage parking for 2 cars also. Thanks for sharing your amazing house.

Lovely Stay, as description. Reasonably priced. Close enough to Auckland but far enough away to feel like you can escape. Maybe needed a few more pots and pans in the kitchen. Lovely and clean. The team were very helpful with any enquires.
