Great stay, is as says and shows in listing. Was a pretty chilly few days, but heater kept the place toasty warm, Bed is good, not the best Ive ever had, but well above average from my AirBnB experiences! All clean and comfortable Is on my list to look for when Im working in area

Team EJ were awesome to work with. Their communication is top notch and prompt. The place was a bit more squat then I had expected, but it served it's purpose really well, and the service of team EJ more than made up for that. The place had everything that was required and the bed is nice, big, and comfy.

We were pretty disappointed with how dirty the place was when we arrived. Photos look so clean and new however it’s definitely not the case. There was scuff marks everywhere, dust, mould, dirt. Was really bad. Our first night the shower started flooding so I decided to pull the drain plug out and it was so full of hair and dirt, isn’t my job to clean and maintain the shower in the air bnb but it was that night which was disgusting. There was also no duvet cover, just 2 sheets on each side of a very dirty and over used duvet which was pretty disgusting aswel. Very unfortunate as we were looking forward to our stay here.

It's true that not every airbnb needs to be brand new, but this place was shabby in ways I would not expect from a rental costing over 100/day. It's a crudely constructed house basement - cozy for a few days if you really need to be in this area - and with enough supplies to actually use the hotplate to cook - but we arrived to a dust covered space (thick dust!!), a very narrow corridor, and a bathroom with dead mosquitoes squashed on the door. The bathroom sink really is a laundry sink and it's a joke to try and actually sit in the alcove off the corridor...especially since you have to snake the extension plug behind you to use the washing machine. More than a few days of constant use, and mold/mildew start to collect around the sinks in the kitchen and bathroom - it isn't set up to have habitation for too long. The communication was good and everything did function. The neighborhood felt reasonably safe and is very convenient to a train and walking trails.

Overall disappointed and think it was expensive for the condition it was in. The location was good. Positive: The location I think is good as it is close to Sunnyvale railway station, to the shopping centre in Henderson, and local shops. The bed was good and the wall heater worked really well and kept the area warm. Having a washing machine was a help on a longer stay, and the TV, microwave all worked and the shower was good. Negative: It was promoted as newly renovated and it isn't. The outside presentation is poor as there is a pile of rubbish on the lower level of the property and lots of weeds along the fence lines etc. so it didn't give a good first impression. Inside was clean but not spotless and I think it required a deep clean. The ceiling height inside was low and I think a tall person would find it uncomfortable. There is lack of basic maintenance as well, a broken toilet roll holder, tap handles on the laundry tub in the bathroom were missing their retaining nuts, the silicon seal between the kitchen benches and wall junctions are cracked and behind the kitchen sink it was very poor, the kitchen sponges were dirty, and lots of scuff marks on the walls and some of the horizontal surfaces. There have been repairs to the plaster board walls and ceilings that have not been sanded flush and just painted over. I also think a new front door would help with the presentation and a modern deadlock.

Simple spot, has what you need for the most part, I was comfortable. Basement apartment with low ceilings so might be a bit cramped if you’re tall but I was just fine at 5’ 4”. Pretty view from the bedroom window.

Not worth the money the best thing about the airbnb was the TV. Shower had mould Kitchen sponges that were provided were used and old Bed sheets weren’t clean Dusty No proper circulation of air just windows with no screens so when we opened them to let fresh air in bugs would get in all the time We will not be coming back and I urge people to not book this air BnB

The living environment is very quiet and private, but the interior of the house has a slight slope, which takes some getting used to. The kitchen and bathroom are very clean, but the kitchen has a strong smell of spices, so it needs more ventilation.

Host was lovely, they always replied within a few minutes and they were very helpful. Very tidy place, beautiful surrounding, and the place was close to a lot of shops which was very helpful. The only downside was that you could hear people walking around upstairs but other then that I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed for one week and we had a great time in the accommodation. The bed was really comfortable. The interior in the kitchen was plenty and brand new. everything was very clean. A little guide for restaurants in the area or devices like TV and fan would have been helpful. Also, the ceiling in the bedroom was just 1,90m high, and it was pretty close as we both are pretty tall. all in all, we had a really pleasant stay at this place.

Great location for our stay in Auckland, but it was a bit too freshly renovated as there was a smell of paint on entry and sawdust in the bathroom. Hosts were responsive and all the amenities were great.

The property is a basement of a 3 story house with a good outlook over the valley and rail corridor and further away the Waitakeries. Freshly painted with new furnishings, TV and everything. It could be described as quaint if being generous. The entrance is dissapointing but private. The bed is new but not level. Bedding and towels etc excellent. No dining area or sittee to tv watch. The bed being the only option. The kitchen was good as was the shower etc. Off road park outside your unit. A well priced bolthole, new to the market that will improve after a few stays and adjustments.
