Great location near the beach and city! This clean and well-equipped apartment was perfect for our little getaway. As a bonus, it was wonderfully kid-proof, especially with the bunk beds – a big win for traveling with a toddler

We spent a week here with our teenage daughters. It was perfect- within driving distance of the city and if one wanted to explore further south. Mission beach is a beautiful strip to explore in itself and this unit allows for that and more being centrally located.

was a good place to stay, team EJ was always very responsive. There was one hiccup with power, and was without a fridge 24hrs and lost all of our frozen food even with the chilli bins and ice provided. would recommend getting a vacuum for the place. especially for long stays. A small shopping centre was a quick walk away with an amazing eatery! overall was a great stay and Team EJ was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

The hosts were very responsive and helpful both before and during the stay. The property is very conveniently located next to shops and bus stops that take you directly to the city (and the allocated car space comes in handy). The check-in process itself was a little unusual as the keys weren’t located onsite however it appears that the hosts have significantly improved the check-out process based on previous reviews and made it very easy. Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Auckland.

The place was very nice to stay at and I was happy with my time there. But it is a bit awkward having the key located off site. Key pick up is at a store a few minutes down the road from the apartment. Picking it up was fine, but returning it was a huge hassle. The store wasn't open at check out time (10am) so I couldn't return the key. I waited outside for half an hour because the store said it would open at 10:30. But by 10:40 it still hadn't opened and i couldn't waste my time standing outside any longer. I messaged the team when I was back on wifi and told them where I was (still in the area) and that I had the key. Someone eventually picked the key up but the whole check out process was very stressful for my last day of holiday before heading back to the airport.

The check-out and key return process was very inconvenient! Because the door was locked at the key return place, a lot of time was wasted from 9:20 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon!

Overall, we had a nice stay at Team EJ's place in Mission Bay - the location was great, easy walking distance to the beach, grocery, parks, and was great as a home base for our time in Auckland. The place itself was quiet and located in a secure building, the parking spot included was a big plus! Unfortunately, we had a frustrating check in to get the key for the unit - we arrived early into Auckland from an overnight flight and intentionally booked the unit for that additional night so that we would have access right away upon our arrival. We communicated this with Team EJ ahead of our arrival and were assured that we would be able to access the key without issue (the key needs to be picked up from a nearby store). Of course, the store wasn't open when we arrived and so we could not access the key - after some back and forth communication and waiting outside the unit, a member of the host team came with the key. It was a rough start, but all in all, it was a great place for us.

Average accommodation for the money. Positive: Location was good to where we wanted to be. The apartment did have all we needed inside. Negative: The amount of paperwork and backwards and forwards with additional information needed to secure the booking even after you had booked it. $500 bond paid on top of what was already an expensive apartment. No personal interactions. Searching for lockboxes that aren’t close to the apartment is not ideal. Wasn’t up to our cleaning standard.

This place was next to a supermarket, a bus stop, about 10 min walk to a playground, and 2 min from a bush reserve so it was a lovely spot for our family. A bit of a pain to get the key, but apart from that we were happy. Nice to have an oven and washing machine.

Good, secure building with easy access to mall next door (great supermarket, pharmacy, pub etc). We stayed for two nights in this apartment with our son. this is our 2nd stay with the Host but different property. The check in process could’ve been easier as we had to take the key at the nearby liquor store across the road. The apartment is conveniently located near New World supermarket. We must say the beds are cozy and all equipments works perfectly. Cleaning can be improved as there was some damp smell by the sofa area when we first checked in, a couple of used handtowels left behind bathroom doors and a dirty sock left in the washing. Communication should be improved as there are too many hosts involved and not checking any previous conversation which really bothers me. Asking twice whether I will be having a party in the property while I am coming with my 6 yo son is also a thing that I am bothered. Unimportant questions to be ask for instant booking Airbnb. Overall OK experience but not coming back to this property

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Es war alles vorhanden. Ein bisschen mehr Geschirr und Besteck wäre noch hilfreich, um nicht nach jedem Essen abwaschen zu müssen. Die Lage ist super, man kann sehr gut mit dem Bus in die City fahren. Direkt nebenan ist ein kleines Einkaufszentrum, so dass man Lebensmittel vor Ort kaufen kann. Trotzdem ist es ruhig. Die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen.

Great directions, excellent parking onsite, easy directions for check in, all amenities in the accommodation, a nice little balcony as well. Great location, everything you could need. Would recommend wine glasses, but other than that, it was excellent ! Super clean, comfy and secure. Easy to taxi/uber to the cbd. Great for dinner out and a concert, as we did. Love that there’s a washer and dryer if needed. Thanks! We’d happily stay again

it would have been helpful if the programme tuning was all set up so we didn't have to worry about it.
