Was an easy place to stay and support staff reacted to any needs really quickly - they were awesome Positive: Located centrally in a stunning complex it had easy access. The layout was straight forward and there is access to awesome facilities . Negative: There was no air conditioning. Luckily it has large ranch slider doors at each end of the property leading to two private patios.

Too much messaging on 'cleaning' (the bill said $210 for cleaning) & no service on 2nd key problem Negative: Lockbox was very difficult to operate and host would/could not provide a second key so my wife could independently access the unit. The host's response of nothing more than pleasant platitudes was simply bad bad service and spoilt our stay.

Autant rien à dire sur le logement autant la gestion commerciale est très moyenne. Nous avons demandé d'anticiper notre venue d'une nuit et surprise le prix avait changé sans prévenir. Plus cher bien sûr. j'ai trouvé la démarche moyenne limite de l'arnaque. Au final ça laisse un goût amer alors que s'aurait pu être très bien.

The place is very nice, tidy and clean and is located perfectly in Auckland‘s center. It is walkable one can reach most important public transport, supermarkets and restaurants in minutes. Although being right next to the CBD, the place is located in a very quiet and private neighborhood that is actually marked as „quiet place“. We really enjoyed the patio in the evenings. The only downside was the kitchen equipment. For those, who plan to stay somewhat self contained and cook a lot, the supplied cooking wear comes with some limitations. There were for instance only two tiny pots. We were not not even able to cook some pasta. The issue was not resolved during our stay, even though we asked for that.

A Terrible Experience! The carpark fob did not work and according to the building manager had not been used for 6 months. I had to stay and wait 3 hours for a fob to arrive. The carpark instructions were terrible meaning lots of guessing with heavy luggage, other guests have complained about this too. The apartment is tired and has no windows, only raunch sliders, so smells. You can't leave the sliders open when out or asleep, so it gets hot and stuffy. You can hear the neighbours upstairs. The TV remote does not change the volume. The Internet is very slow and I ended up using my own data. The location was the only positive part of the apartment.

I would stay here again. Secure, beautiful , cozy apartment Positive: The location near Victoria Park & the CBD of Auckland was perfect! Walking distance to major city sites & apartment tucked away from the fray. Supermarket very close & excellent cafe ‘Let’s Ketchup’ just down the block. The ‘view’ from the bedroom quite relaxing. Quiet for sleeping. I could live here! Negative: Instructions for stovetop would have helped (foreign citizen, could not figure out).

Our stay at "Victoria Park Haven w/ Carpark, Spa, Pool, and Gym" was disappointing and fell far short of expectations. While the listing appeared promising, the actual experience left much to be desired. The unit was in dire need of a deep clean, with a musty smell lingering throughout and noticeable odors of old cigarettes. Dust coated the walls, and there were visible footprints on the wall above the couch. Additionally, the outdoor areas showed neglect, with an energy drink can in the bushes, a cigarette butt in the front planter, and even a kitchen knife left outside in the planter—an unsettling oversight. The hairdryer and flat iron were broken and unusable, and the provided toiletries were limited to a small, hotel-sized bottle of shampoo and body soap. The unit was difficult to find with google taking you to the wrong place. Parking and amenities was not accessible, only leaving street parking. Lack of adequate blinds which allow people to see into the unit at night.

Entry instructions poor, spent an hour in arrival looking for keybox, which was so poorly located behind a pole that you had to spend 10 minutes on hands and knees in the rain trying to open it. This after incorrect instructions on how to find it Entered to a broken cupboard doors, pealing painted floors, unwashed shower and a red and black decor that looked like something from the adams family mansion. The fake white orchids adding just the right mausoleum touch to freak the most hardened traveller to morbid amusement. Dissapointed...no enamel cofin to sleep in To say that i was dissatisfied with this place is an understatement. Paint it, clean it, add a light outside, mark it clearly with a number, describe it properly, plant a bush/flower/shrub, maintain it, change the vacuum cleaner(cheap and doesn't suck up dirt), put in a useable eating area, lighten it, match the paintings with the decor...sailing boats pics dont fit with a black and red gothic nightmare generator..just weird

It's a small, cosy and peaceful place to be. Little to no noise in the complex. Location is convenient to nearby shops and restaurants. Only problem we had was check in. We did this after hours due to a late booking, but the Google map link location for the place led us to the wrong place. We ended up winging it and finding the place on our own by going an elevator and exploring the large complex at night, and asking some kind strangers. Did try to contact them but they just re-sent the instructions we were confused with in the first place. Took us 2 hours to get into the apartment. Would be a 5star if the check in wasn't so complicated

Nice little apartment. Close to supermarket and access to main highway. Secure parking is great. No air-conditioning so just be aware when booking in Summer as the apartment gets very hot and humid. 2 fans provided so air flow is sufficient.

Great location right between the centre of Auckland and Ponsonby making most things walking distance. Also has easy access to the main north/south motorway so makes escaping the city to explore further afield very easy. The fact it has a parking space is a real bonus. Facilities at the property are great, and the outside deck catches the sun in the morning which is great when you wake up. 100% recommend for anyone staying in Auckland for a few days, but also for those who might be new to the country and need somewhere to stay as they get set up.

The Pros—- I found the location top notch,,shopping centre,pubs with great food,,, The unit/Condo was as described,,,clean,,, To make the hob work you must switch it off and then back on for it to work,,,, The cons—- The Unit is NOT easy to find,,,no matter how you spin it,,it’s confusing ,,,and the internal (car parking)elevator has not worked for 2-3 months,,,,a local told me…. The fridge has layers of defrosted water ,top n bottom,,until I placed a plastic tray under pipe,,,,….. Airbnb started as a way to give people accommodation,for the people,,,it seems that has slowly degraded to a corporate/business profile,,,,,,,and we—-you n me ——-are pressed to give a five star rating when it does not deserve it…. Thankyou EJ we enjoyed the plce my partner and I. Maybe review checkin instructions as we spent almost an hour going up different levels and stair and we happened to ask stranger that turned out to be our neighbor. The best way I can explain it for the others. Through the yellow building go upto level 4 on elevators turn left to a sign that says 20&22, walk through the alley way and turn left on your right you'll see another entrance that's yellow the apartment on your left is your room. refer to photos. overall the apartment was perfect. First airbnb that had all utilities to cook and so many ranges of plates and drink glasses. SHOWER IS AMAZING. the water pressure , space loved. EJ also provided laundry powder, bathroom necessities. Ej also responded to fix the blind upon our arrival. Great communication. Thankyou for the service

Ive stayed at 3 of EJ's spaces now and weach and evryone of them are really great. This spot was no exception. Lovely spot. My only anooyance ws that i didnt book longer cos by the time i tried it was already booked! The hosts did try to offer me another spot too which i really appreciated even though i never took them up on the offer. I highly recommend these hosts and their spaces!

Great stay. Super clean and awesome location. Check-in instructions were a little unclear as you must go up the stairs/elevator to the flat to get the key (not on the ground floor by the elevator) but other than that — superb stay.

Such a cosy place to stay, very comfortable bed, peaceful place and nice amenities in the building complex, like gym, sauna and pool. The place it’s close to everything you want to see and that you need, in a very peaceful area.

Kia ora, these guys are amazing! Instead of hauling luggage for hours we were able to transfer from one of Team EJ's properties to another seamlessly. This saved me so much time and stress. This place was awesome, so handy to the other end of Ponsonby and downtown CBD. The Pool, Gym and Sauna were great. Everything we needed was here. Definitely consider this place when seeking a great spot to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again should I return to Auckland / Tamaki. Thanks again for providing a wonderful place to chill.

This was a great stay for us. Super clean and tidy apartment in a great location. Walked to Ponsonby for dinner. The complex is a bit confusing and the apartment not that easy to find, even with the detailed instructions. The Team was super responsive and communicative and got us a few things that were missing. They were quite attentive and helpful.

The apartment is clean and tidy with great outdoor spaces. It comes with parking which is really convenient. It is close to town, supermarket and the viaduct. A big bonus is the location of car rental by the hour or day for around the city right outside the complex. Eric and Jason were easily available by text and promptly helpful.

All in all excellent and I will definitely book again now that I know how the swipe key works . Positive: So peaceful and quiet . Amazing! Excellent , modern , well equipped. apartment . The hosts had thought of all the details . Free , secure, inner-city parking ! .Loved it despite a few difficulties. . I have stayed in lots of places during my visits to Auckland and finally I have found one I want to return to . 😊 Negative: I had no contact with the hosts and I had a few problems that I couldn’t contact them directly about . I had to knock on 2 neighbours’’ doors ….first to ask how to enter parking building and also that I had to use key to swipe access door out of building….the instructions made no mention of these .Also the elevator didn’t work from lower level to level 1. Couldn’t work out how to use the hot plate ….instructions would have been great. And no electric blanket.Pillows too soft for MY liking These quibbles weren’t enough to prevent me wanting to return to this wonderfully peaceful oasis in the big city .

A cosy apartment that’s in 10min walking distance to the city, and Ponsonby for great food and cafes. Fantastic location, and especially handy if you are travelling by car with the inclusion of a free car park in the apartment complex parking building. Thank you for having us!

Very comfortable and great location. Quiet neighbors. I will recommend this apartment to anyone who needs to be close to the Auckland CBD, and wants to be at walking distance to Ponsonby. The team is very responsive and accommodating. A great place to stay in central Auckland!

Positive: The property itself was clean and well-equipped. Negative: The property is up about 5 staircases from the street...fine for young tenants but a serious climb for older folks.
